Last Night at Darby's

Maggie Burke heads out for her annual girls'' weekend in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, with a life that feels nicely managed. Children raised, successful nonprofit career, and an empty marriage peacefully ended. She is solid in the knowledge that she is a woman who meets her responsibilities head-on and embraces the openness and laughter found in the company of her four favorite women.
Sean DeMarco is a man with a life equally in order. A successful restauranteur appreciated by his community, he is accustomed to getting what he wants, because he always does. He is arrogant, restless, and closed off to most. The losses he experienced in his youth changed the course of his life, his full story known by only a few.
Dark, mysterious, middle-aged beach bum meets headstrong, confident, alpha female. Their paths cross on the beach, and sparks don''t fly; they combust into flames.
