They are capable of fabricating an arbitrary outputthe voltage of variable frequency and magnitude. Factors like single stagetransformation of voltage and frequency, bi-directional power flow capability,sinusoidal input and output voltage, more compact size, low weight, and DClink-free architecture, make this converter more attractive than a standard twostage converter.
