"AMERICAN OUTLAWS by Adam Seidel is a play with surprising twists and turns. Mike is hired as a hit-man by Mitch. Mike is a dangerous, duplicitous character and Mitch is a very nervous accountant who has gotten into some serious financial problems. It is soon revealed that the men have a common love interest, Mitch's wife Susan. As this complex story unfolds and the tension mounts, you will be on the edge of your seat."Marina Kennedy, Broadway World "Seidel's script is a marvel of intonation and unspoken words lurking beneath Michael and Mitch's tense dialogue.... It is...a great script."Paul Friswold, Riverfront Times "Dialogue is sharply written, and secrets are revealed in a suspenseful way."Snopes

"WILLISTON by Adam Seidel is a fresh piece of theatre that successfully shines a light on the power of greed and money in modern day America. Three leasing reps travel to Williston, North Dakota to get mineral rights to the last big piece of undeveloped land.… I was thoroughly impressed with the play. …a story that is relevant and fresh."Brian Stanczak-Tuscany, Broadway World "Something's not quite right in the small town of Williston, North Dakota. That much is obvious just from the fact that oil company deal closers Barb and Larry are expected to share quarters in a trailer camp setting. And how is it that their parent company didn't let them know that they were sending a new numbers guy, Tom to bring in the lease on one of the largest and possibly most productive tracts of land? After all, the killer team of Barb and Larry has been working for years on "Indian Jim," the Native American holdout who is reluctant to allow drilling on his land. Playwright Adam Seidel crafts a nifty three-hander where everything and everyone is not as it seems.…"Lauren Yarger, theaterlife.com

"…Adam Seidel's serio-comic CATCH THE BUTCHER…evoke[s] both the dank confines of Hannibal Lecter's cell in The Silence of the Lambs and the fireplace textures of 1960s suburban homes. Both environments, literally or figuratively, can be prisons, which is only appropriate for this quirky, unsettling and rewarding play. Strains of the country ditty All My Ex's Live in Texas…conjure the location. Nancy, a single woman, sits on a park bench before she is chloroformed and kidnapped by Bill, a fastidious serial killer. Awakening in his basement liar, she finds him with accessories familiar to fans of Dexter and the Hostel movies: an industrial apron and a cabinet full of chemicals and surgical instruments. Bill intends to kill her, but she enchants him with her admiration for the poems he composes and leaves with his victims. It turns out she intentionally positioned herself as bait. The bond between the lonely Nancy and the broody Bill evolves into love and, briefly, a kind of conservative domestic bliss: She cleans house and cooks, while he goes to work (he's a doctor) and returns to read the newspaper, have a martini and be doted on. But Nancy grows bored, and reaches out to their neighbor Joanne, whom she invites over, against Bill's wishes, for supper. Bill, a control freak is not pleased. …Mr Seidel's effective blend of romance, absurdism, satire and dread…" Andy Webster, The New York Times
