Leiden bedeutet, zu handeln und zu wachsen. Aber es bedeutet auch, zu reifen. In der Tat reift der Mensch, der überwindet, an seinem Selbst. Extremsituationen verhelfen dem Menschen also nicht nur zur inneren Freiheit, sondern auch zur vollen Reife (Frankl, 1984, S. 123). Diese Untersuchung entstand aus dem persönlichen Anliegen, die Realität der primären Betreuer von pädiatrischen Onkologiepatienten kennen zu lernen. Bei der Analyse der Daten stellte ich fest, dass es eine relevante Tendenz gibt: Je höher der Leidensdruck, desto höher der Lebenssinn der pädiatrischen Krebsbetreuer. Es stimmt zwar, dass nicht alle Pflegenden zu einem mittleren oder niedrigen Lebensgefühl neigen, aber es gibt eine hohe Inzidenz von existentieller Leere.

Sofrer significa agir e crescer. Mas também significa amadurecer. De facto, o ser humano que supera, amadurece em direção à sua individualidade. As situações extremas, portanto, para além de ajudarem o homem a alcançar a liberdade interior, ajudam-no a atingir a maturidade plena (Frankl, 1984, p. 123). Esta investigação nasceu de uma preocupação pessoal em conhecer a realidade dos cuidadores primários de doentes oncológicos pediátricos em particular. De tal forma que, na análise dos dados, verifiquei que existe uma tendência relevante para que quanto maior o nível de sentido de sofrimento, maior o nível de sentido de vida dos cuidadores de doentes oncológicos pediátricos. Embora seja verdade que nem todos os prestadores de cuidados tendem a ter um sentido de vida médio ou baixo, existe uma elevada incidência de vazio existencial.

To suffer means to act and to grow. But it also means maturing. In fact, the human being who overcomes, matures towards his selfhood. Extreme situations, therefore, besides making man reach inner freedom, help him to achieve full maturity (Frankl, 1984, p. 123). This research was born from the personal concern to know what is the reality of primary caregivers of pediatric oncology patients in particular. In such a way that the analysis of the data, I found that there is a relevant tendency that the higher the level of sense of suffering, the higher the level of sense of life of pediatric oncology caregivers. While it is true that not all caregivers tend to have a medium or low sense of life, there is a high incidence of existential emptiness.

Soffrire significa agire e crescere. Ma significa anche maturare. Infatti, l'essere umano che supera, matura verso la propria autostima. Le situazioni estreme, quindi, oltre ad aiutare l'uomo a raggiungere la libertà interiore, lo aiutano a raggiungere la piena maturità (Frankl, 1984, p. 123). Questa ricerca è nata dalla preoccupazione personale di conoscere la realtà dei caregiver primari dei pazienti oncologici pediatrici in particolare. Dall'analisi dei dati, ho scoperto che esiste una tendenza rilevante secondo cui più alto è il livello di sofferenza, più alto è il livello di senso della vita dei caregiver di pazienti oncologici pediatrici. Anche se è vero che non tutti i caregiver tendono ad avere un senso della vita medio o basso, c'è un'alta incidenza di vuoto esistenziale.

Cette recherche est née d'un souci personnel de connaître la réalité des soignants primaires des patients en oncologie pédiatrique en particulier. L'analyse des données m'a permis de constater qu'il existe une tendance pertinente selon laquelle plus le niveau du sentiment de souffrance est élevé, plus le niveau du sentiment de vie des soignants en oncologie pédiatrique est élevé. S'il est vrai que tous les soignants n'ont pas tendance à avoir un sentiment de vie moyen ou faible, il y a une forte incidence de vide existentiel.
