This work is the result of an analysis of the textbooks used in our Portuguese and History primary and secondary school classrooms, with the aim of discovering the profile and place reserved for black people in their content. There is a great lack of information about Afro-descendant culture in Brazil and its contributions to shaping the identity of the Brazilian people. The injustice of not publicising the legacy brought by native Africans, who were forcibly inserted into a strange and distant land and had to adapt and establish their roots on Brazilian soil, is visible. The culture they brought was incorporated into customs, such as dance, cuisine, music, religion, the language itself and a host of other elements. All of this constitutes the cultural wealth that Afro-descendants brought with them and, in a way, imposed on our culture, contributing in a big way to the formation of our identity.

Ce travail est le résultat d'une analyse des manuels scolaires utilisés dans nos classes primaires et secondaires de portugais et d'histoire, dans le but de découvrir le profil et la place réservés aux Noirs dans leur contenu. Il y a un grand manque d'informations sur la culture afro-descendante au Brésil et ses contributions à la formation de l'identité du peuple brésilien. Il est injuste de ne pas faire connaître l'héritage apporté par les natifs africains, qui ont été introduits de force dans un pays étrange et lointain et ont dû s'adapter et s'enraciner sur le sol brésilien. La culture qu'ils ont apportée a été incorporée dans les coutumes, telles que la danse, la cuisine, la musique, la religion, la langue elle-même et bien d'autres éléments. Tout cela constitue la richesse culturelle que les Afro-descendants ont apportée avec eux et, d'une certaine manière, imposée à notre culture, contribuant ainsi largement à la formation de notre identité.

Este trabajo es el resultado de un análisis de los libros de texto utilizados en nuestras aulas de enseñanza primaria y secundaria de Portugués e Historia, con el objetivo de descubrir el perfil y el lugar reservados a los negros en su contenido. Existe una gran falta de información sobre la cultura afrodescendiente en Brasil y sus contribuciones a la formación de la identidad del pueblo brasileño. Es visible la injusticia de no divulgar el legado traído por los nativos africanos, que se insertaron por la fuerza en una tierra extraña y distante y tuvieron que adaptarse y establecer sus raíces en suelo brasileño. La cultura que trajeron se incorporó a las costumbres, como la danza, la gastronomía, la música, la religión, la propia lengua y un sinfín de otros elementos. Todo esto constituye la riqueza cultural que los afrodescendientes trajeron consigo y, de alguna manera, impusieron en nuestra cultura, contribuyendo en gran medida a la formación de nuestra identidad.

Questo lavoro è il risultato di un'analisi dei libri di testo utilizzati nelle nostre classi di scuola primaria e secondaria in portoghese e storia, con l'obiettivo di scoprire il profilo e il posto riservato ai neri nei loro contenuti. C'è una grande mancanza di informazioni sulla cultura afro-discendente in Brasile e sul suo contributo alla formazione dell'identità del popolo brasiliano. È visibile l'ingiustizia di non far conoscere l'eredità portata dai nativi africani, che sono stati inseriti con la forza in una terra sconosciuta e lontana e hanno dovuto adattarsi e stabilire le loro radici sul suolo brasiliano. La cultura che hanno portato è stata incorporata nei costumi, come la danza, la cucina, la musica, la religione, la lingua stessa e una miriade di altri elementi. Tutto ciò costituisce la ricchezza culturale che gli afro-discendenti hanno portato con sé e, in un certo senso, imposto alla nostra cultura, contribuendo in modo determinante alla formazione della nostra identità.

Diese Arbeit ist das Ergebnis einer Analyse der Schulbücher, die in unseren portugiesischen und geschichtlichen Grund- und Sekundarschulen verwendet werden, mit dem Ziel, das Profil und den Platz zu ermitteln, der den Schwarzen in ihren Inhalten vorbehalten ist. Es gibt einen großen Mangel an Informationen über die Kultur der Afroamerikaner in Brasilien und ihren Beitrag zur Bildung der Identität des brasilianischen Volkes. Es ist ungerecht, dass das Erbe der afrikanischen Ureinwohner, die gewaltsam in ein fremdes und fernes Land gebracht wurden und sich auf brasilianischem Boden anpassen und verwurzeln mussten, nicht bekannt gemacht wird. Die Kultur, die sie mitbrachten, wurde in Bräuche wie Tanz, Küche, Musik, Religion, die Sprache selbst und eine Vielzahl anderer Elemente integriert. All dies macht den kulturellen Reichtum aus, den die Nachfahren der Afroamerikaner mitbrachten und in gewisser Weise in unsere Kultur einbrachten, wodurch sie in großem Maße zur Bildung unserer Identität beitrugen.
