Materialismus ist kein neues Konzept. Alle religiösen Führer und auch viele Forscher haben die negativen Seiten des Materialismus diskutiert. Der Materialismus ist zu einem großen Problem in der Welt geworden, denn die Menschen konsumieren mehr und unnötige Dinge. Dies ist zu einer der größten Bedrohungen für die Zukunft des menschlichen Überlebens geworden. Das Ziel dieser Studie ist es, die Vorgeschichte und die Folgen des Materialismus bei verschiedenen ethnischen Gruppen in Sri Lanka zu ermitteln.

Le matérialisme n'est pas un concept nouveau. Tous les chefs religieux ainsi que de nombreux chercheurs ont discuté des aspects négatifs du matérialisme. Le matérialisme est devenu un problème majeur dans le monde. En raison du matérialisme, les gens consomment de plus en plus de choses inutiles. C'est devenu l'une des principales menaces pour l'avenir de la survie de l'humanité. L'objectif de cette étude est d'identifier les antécédents et les conséquences du matérialisme parmi différents groupes ethniques au Sri Lanka.

El materialismo no es un concepto nuevo. Todos los líderes religiosos, así como muchos investigadores, han discutido el lado negativo del materialismo. El materialismo se ha convertido en un gran problema en el mundo, ya que la gente consume más cosas innecesarias. Esto se ha convertido en una de las principales amenazas para el futuro de la supervivencia humana. El objetivo de este estudio es identificar los antecedentes y las consecuencias del materialismo entre los diferentes grupos étnicos de Sri Lanka.

O materialismo não é um conceito novo. Todos os líderes religiosos assim como muitos investigadores discutiram o lado negativo do materialismo. O materialismo tornou-se um grande problema no mundo. Devido ao materialismo, as pessoas consomem mais e coisas desnecessárias. Isto tornou-se uma das maiores ameaças para o futuro da sobrevivência humana. O objectivo deste estudo é identificar a antecedência e as consequências do materialismo entre diferentes grupos étnicos no Sri Lanka.

Il materialismo non è un concetto nuovo. Tutti i leader religiosi e molti ricercatori hanno discusso gli aspetti negativi del materialismo. Il materialismo è diventato uno dei principali problemi del mondo: a causa del materialismo le persone consumano sempre più cose inutili. Questo è diventato una delle principali minacce per il futuro della sopravvivenza umana. Lo scopo di questo studio è quello di identificare l'antecedenza e le conseguenze del materialismo tra i diversi gruppi etnici dello Sri Lanka.

Materialism is not a new concept. All the religious leaders as well as many researchers have discussed the negative side of the materialism. Materialism has become a major problem in the world.Because of the materialism people consume more and unnecessary things. This has become one of the major threats to the future of human survival. The purpose of this study to identify the antecedence and consequences of materialism among different ethnic groups in Sri Lanka.

The growing importance of online impulsive buying behaviour has been identified as an essential part in individuals¿ lives owing to the development and innovations in the field of information technology. The impulsive buying occurs approximately in 40% of all online purchase expenditure. The purpose of this study is to identify the online marketing related factors and personality traits influencing online impulsive buying behaviour and to analyze the degree of impact each factor has on the online impulsive buying behaviour among the consumers in Sri Lanka.
