Auf der einen Seite steht die Volkswirtschaft und auf der anderen die Gesundheit einer Population. Der Einfluss von Infektionskrankheiten auf das Leben der Bevölkerung in den tropischen und subtropischen Ländern der Welt ist enorm. Als europäischer Tourist stellt sich die Frage nach der Prävention auf Reisen. Dies betrifft zum einen die nötigen Impfungen und zum anderen das Malariarisiko. Wie abschreckend dieses Risiko sein kann zeigen meine Daten. Wie groß der Einfluss von Malaria auf die wirtschaftliche Lage dieser Länder ist, habe ich in dieser Bachelorarbeit anhand statistischer Wirtschafts- und Gesundheitsdaten untersucht.
