The dissemination of information about exposure to asbestos, to the worker, to society and to the environment is an important way to avoid the expansion of diseases and deaths caused by this fiber. Therefore, this book intends to unveil the reality of asbestos in Brazil, emphasizing the environmental liabilities generated and the impact on health. Based on the main studies on the subject and the state of the art. The introduction briefly presents the general objective, the specific objectives, the hypothesis and the methodological process of the study. The first chapter deals with the debate on the surveillance of exposed and social control. The second chapter deals with the environmental liabilities of the asbestos industry and mining in Brazil, presenting and analyzing all the emblematic cases on the subject to date. The third chapter presents the debate on asbestos and environmental law, with specific legislation and the entire legal framework in which the problem under study is inserted. And, finally, the fourth chapter presents some final considerations and notes. It is hoped that this study will make clear the harmful effects of asbestos.

La diffusione di informazioni sull'esposizione all'amianto, per il lavoratore, per la società e per l'ambiente è un modo importante per evitare l'espansione delle malattie e dei decessi causati da questa fibra. Pertanto, questo libro intende svelare la realtà dell'amianto in Brasile, sottolineando le responsabilità ambientali generate e l'impatto sulla salute. Si basa sui principali studi sull'argomento e sullo stato dell'arte. L'introduzione presenta brevemente l'obiettivo generale, gli obiettivi specifici, le ipotesi e il processo metodologico dello studio. Die Verbreitung von Informationen über die Asbestexposition des Arbeitnehmers, der Gesellschaft und der Umwelt ist ein wichtiger Weg, um die Zunahme der durch diese Faser verursachten Krankheiten und Todesfälle zu verhindern. Dieses Buch will daher die Realität des Asbests in Brasilien aufzeigen und dabei die Umweltbelastung und die Auswirkungen auf die Gesundheit hervorheben. Es stützt sich auf die wichtigsten Studien zu diesem Thema und den aktuellen Stand der Technik. In der Einleitung werden kurz das allgemeine Ziel, die spezifischen Ziele, die Hypothese und das methodische Vorgehen der Studie vorgestellt. Das erste Kapitel befasst sich mit der Debatte über die Überwachung der Exposition und die soziale Kontrolle. Das zweite Kapitel befasst sich mit der Umwelthaftung der Asbestindustrie und des Asbestbergbaus in Brasilien, wobei alle bisher bekannt gewordenen emblematischen Fälle zu diesem Thema vorgestellt und analysiert werden. Im dritten Kapitel wird die Debatte über das Asbest- und Umweltrecht dargestellt, mit spezifischen Rechtsvorschriften und dem gesamten rechtlichen Rahmen, in den sich das untersuchte Problem einfügt. La divulgación de informaciones sobre la exposición al amianto, al trabajador, a la sociedad y al medio ambiente es una forma importante de evitar la expansión de enfermedades y muertes causadas por esta fibra. Por lo tanto, este libro pretende revelar la realidad del amianto en Brasil, haciendo hincapié en los pasivos ambientales generados y el impacto sobre la salud. Se basa en los principales estudios sobre el tema y el estado del arte. La introducción presenta brevemente el objetivo general, los objetivos específicos, la hipótesis y el proceso metodológico del estudio. El primer capítulo aborda el debate sobre la vigilancia de lo expuesto y el control social. El segundo capítulo trata del pasivo ambiental de la industria y minería del amianto en Brasil, presentando y analizando todos los casos emblemáticos sobre el tema hasta la fecha. El tercer capítulo presenta el debate sobre el amianto y el derecho ambiental, con la legislación específica y todo el marco jurídico en el que se inserta el problema en estudio. Y, por último, el cuarto capítulo presenta algunas consideraciones y notas finales. Se espera que este estudio deje claros los efectos nocivos del amianto.

C'est pourquoi ce livre entend dévoiler la réalité de l'amiante au Brésil, en mettant l'accent sur le passif environnemental généré et l'impact sur la santé. Il se base sur les principales études sur le sujet et sur l'état de l'art. L'introduction présente brièvement l'objectif général, les objectifs spécifiques, l'hypothèse et le processus méthodologique de l'étude. Le premier chapitre aborde le débat sur la surveillance des personnes exposées et le contrôle social. Le deuxième chapitre traite des responsabilités environnementales de l'industrie de l'amiante et de l'exploitation minière au Brésil, en présentant et en analysant tous les cas emblématiques sur le sujet à ce jour. Le troisième chapitre présente le débat sur l'amiante et le droit de l'environnement, avec la législation spécifique et l'ensemble du cadre juridique dans lequel s'insère le problème étudié.
