Os estudos morfológicos da dispersão de borracha de nano nitrilo butadieno em compósito de fibra de vidro epoxi estudados utilizando SCANNING ELECTRON MICROSCOPE. A influência da fracção de peso da borracha de nitrilo butadieno sobre o desgaste, as propriedades de tracção e flexão são estudadas. Entre as fracções de peso seleccionadas, 4% das fracções de peso apresentam um melhor desgaste, as propriedades de tracção e flexão são observadas.

Les échantillons sont fabriqués avec différentes fractions de poids de caoutchouc nitrile-butadiène en utilisant la TECHNIQUE HAND LAY UP. Les études morphologiques de la dispersion de nanocaoutchouc butadiène nitrile dans le composite époxy-fibre de verre ont été étudiées à l'aide de la MICROSCOPE ÉLECTRONIQUE À BALAYAGE. Les études expérimentales sur les propriétés associées telles que la résistance, la rigidité en tension et en flexion sont également réalisées.L'influence de la fraction de poids du caoutchouc nitrile butadiène sur les propriétés d'usure, de traction et de flexion est réalisée.Parmi les fractions de poids sélectionnées, la fraction de poids de 4% présente de meilleures propriétés d'usure, de traction et de flexion.L'effet de la taille des particules de caoutchouc nitrile butadiène sur ces composites polymères sera étudié.L'effet de la plage de température sur le comportement tribologique sera étudié.

L'influenza della frazione ponderale della gomma nitrile butadiene sull'usura, sulla trazione e sulla flessione è stata studiata. Tra le frazioni ponderali selezionate, la frazione ponderale del 4% ha mostrato migliori proprietà di usura, di trazione e di flessione.

    Die Verbesserung der Abriebeigenschaften von Epoxid-Glasfaser-Verbundwerkstoffen wird durch die Zugabe von Nano-Nitril-Butadien-Kautschuk-Partikeln erreicht. Die Proben werden mit unterschiedlichen Gewichtsanteilen von Nitril-Butadien-Kautschuk unter Verwendung der HAND LAY UP TECHNIK hergestellt. Die Morphologiestudien der Nano-Nitril-Butadien-Kautschuk-Dispersion in Epoxid-Glasfaser-Verbundwerkstoffen wurden mit dem SCANNING ELECTRON MICROSCOPE durchgeführt. Der Einfluss des Gewichtsanteils von Nitril-Butadien-Kautschuk auf die Verschleiß-, Zug- und Biegeeigenschaften wird ebenfalls untersucht. Unter den ausgewählten Gewichtsanteilen wird ein Gewichtsanteil von 4 % ausgestellt, der bessere Verschleiß-, Zug- und Biegeeigenschaften aufweist.

    The results of the torsional analysis indicate that the resonance frequencies are sufficiently away from the operating speed. Maximum value of magnification factor is 6.49 hence the Short circuit torque value is well within the allowable transient torque. Campbell diagram show there are no any interference between calculated torsional natural frequecies in the range of ±10% of operating speed of rotor train. The maximum torsional stress for the events that were studied for weakest section of shaft was 39.65 ksi which are well within the accepted level. The calculated response levels for this system have been accepted based upon the yield strength of the component materials. The resonant alternating shear stresses are well within the accepted level based upon the yield strength of the component materials. The objective of short circuit events is to avoid component outer-fiber yielding while, for the malsynchronization events avoiding full-screen yield is the primary objective There are no torsion natural frequencies, alternating shear stress, nor electrical fault torque concerns for the system based on the analysis performed on this rotor train.

    The complete design and fabrication of the parallel and counterflow heat exchanger were done. And the calculations of the double pipe heat exchanger have been done. ¿ From the study the following conclusions have been drawn: ¿ The overall heat transfer coefficient of the heat exchanger for counterflow was found to be U=1794.5 W/m2K ¿ The overall heat transfer coefficient of the heat exchanger for parallel flow was found to be U=1539.1 W/m2K ¿ From the above values, it is concluded that the heat transfer in counterflow arrangement is more than that of in parallel flow arrangement

    Vibration Analysis is an important subject to Mechanical Engineering of Masters Degree,Degree and Diploma students. One has to understand the basics of Vibrations and analysis of any component before designing and manufacturing.Particular care has been taken to draw diagrams to scale correctly. The Results are compared with analytical ones wherever possible. From the present analysis, following conclusions are drawn 1)The vibration and stress analysis of blade is done. The results of finite element method for natural frequencies and stress analysis are very close to the analytical method results. 2)The failure analysis of holed blade is done. The insertion of a hole in the turbine blade results decrease in the life cycle of the turbine blade. 3)The failure analysis of tapered and twisted blade with hole is done. Tapering and twisting increases the life cycle of the blade. 4)The failure analysis of complex bladed disk is done. The life cycle of the bladed disk is less then single blade life. 5)5)The results of the analysis showed that the root of the turbine blade is a critical portion from fatigue failure point of view.

    The enhancement of abrasive wear properties of epoxy glass fiber composites are carried out through the addition of nano nitrile butadiene rubber particles. Samples are fabricated with different weight fraction of nitrile butadiene rubber using HAND LAY UP TECHNIQUE. The morphology studies of nano nitrile butadiene rubber dispersion in epoxy glass fiber composite studied using SCANNING ELECTRON MICROSCOPE. The experimental studies on associate properties like strength, stiffness are in tension and flexural is also carried out.The influence of weight fraction of nitrile butadiene rubber is on wear, tensile and flexural properties are carried out.Among the selected weight fractions 4% weight fraction is exhibited better wear, tensile and flexural properties are observed.The effect of size of the particles of nitrile butadiene rubber on these polymer composite will be studied.The effect of temperature range between tribological behavior will be studied.

    Experimental investigation is carried out on computerized VCR diesel test rig to determine the variation of pressure with crank angle in the cylinder at different compression ratios. The temperature variation of gases was further evaluated using the results obtained from the experimentation. Using this experimental observations and the actual dimension of cylinder head, stress analysis was carried out with the aid of the modern software CATIA and ANSYS. The stresses induced in cylinder head and deformations were found to be within allowable limits. The stress analysis of the cylinder head was carried at five different materials of compression ratio 18.5. What they are CGI(GJV 450), GREY CAST IRON, A319-T5, A356-T6 and AMC-SC1. Through the analysis above five different materials aluminum alloy(a356-t6) gives better results. The following inferences are drawn from the study. 1. The stresses induced in the cylinder head at compression ratios 18.5 is 42.381 Mpa. 2. Through the heat transfer analysis. it was observed that maximum temperature in the cylinder head occur at the compression ratio of 18.5 of value 348.14 0 C.

    In this parametric study the aircraft wing model was designed to a light weight, comfortable model which is also cost effective than the some of the existing models around the world. On testing the wing by applying uniformly distributed load, the Equivalent Stresses and the Total Deformations are calculated.The design of experiments was generated using central composite design method and subsequent optimization is carried out using screening method. Duly considered Aluminium material has the values of weight as 1050kg, 25985384.62 equivalent stresses. Now these values are optimized by 10% to the originally obtained values. The optimized values are, weight of leg is 948.2 kg, equivalent stresses are 2.8163E+07 and deformation is 0.81606m.Optimization problem was investigated in this paper. It is noticed that even though the basic geometry and the same sets of design variables are used, problem has radicaldifference with respect to design sensitivity. Optimized Problem possesses high sensitivity with respect to sizing design variables. Generally, it is not possible to determine beforehand which subset of design variables will be dominant in terms of sensitivity.

    The present work presents a modelling process and a numerical vibration analysis of the ABB 4400/60 robot model by utilisation of CATIA & ANSYS Soft wares. The model has a discrete distribution of the parameters and is considered in two working positions. It has been attached to two kinematic and one dynamic excitation. The Analysis program that has been used to perform dynamic analysis considers a robot model and works on the basis of the matrix hybrid graph model structure into block diagrams structure transformation algorithm.Hybrid graphs and block diagrams in analysing mechanical systems with control.Modelling is done using CATIA according to the robot dimensions given by the journal of ¿Modelling of mechanical systems vibrations by utilization of GRAFSIM software¿.Analysis part is done in Ansys.In the Ansys meshed the robot assembly with finite elements.After meshing is over applied the load by arresting the DOF.In this Total base is arrested of control of DOF.Model damping and Harmonic analysis is done.Vibration analysis is done in 2 positions of the robot with load taken as 100N in Y&Z directions.In this we only dynamic analysis is done.

    Il casco standard è modificato considerando il modulo Peltier e il dissipatore di calore. È stato progettato con successo in 3D-Solidworks per soddisfare le esigenze di comfort umano e prendendo in considerazione le misure di sicurezza umana. L'analisi statica delle sollecitazioni viene effettuata sul casco modificato utilizzando l'interfaccia Ansys. L'analisi sperimentale viene effettuata per quattro casi diversi considerando il modulo Peltier, considerando il modulo Peltier con dissipatore di calore, la presenza del modulo Peltier con velocità, la presenza del modulo Peltier e del dissipatore di calore con velocità. I risultati hanno mostrato che il casco con modulo Peltier e dissipatore di calore in presenza di velocità dà più comfort umano in quanto mostra più raffreddamento, sicurezza ed ergonomia umana.
