Among the works illustrated are Sheherazade, Narcisse, Petrushka, L'Après-midi d'un faune, Carnaval, Spectre de la rose, Cléopatre, and Le Pavillon d'Armide.The plates are preceded by a short text in French by Francis de Miomandre.First printed in 1913, the book has never before been reprinted.
