This book consists of 2 parts:The first includes the most essential mantras for your yoga practice. The second part includes the most sacred chants from different traditions: Hindu, Buddhist, Sikh, Jain, Christian, and Islamic. These mantras were adapted here for Tongue Drum and Handpan and they are possible to play on most drum models. Songs have been transposed for a steel drum sound range. Some melodies have been changed and simplified.Which tongue drum are these songs suitable for? Each tongue drum is very different, and it is impossible to accommodate songs for all kinds of tongue drums in one book. This book is suitable for most models of handpan, but if you have a tongue drum, it should have a minimum of 10 keys, because many songs in this book involve more than one-octave notes. 18 melodies from this book are suitable for a 1-octave tongue drum. Others melodies require a 10+ key tongue drum or a handpan.Table of Contents:Part 1. Yoga MantrasAdi Mantra. Are you a beginner who wants to play Christmas songs, hymns, folksongs, and spirituals but have never played music or cannot read sheet music?Don't worry! With my simple, picture-based sheet music, you can start playing immediately. The songs and melodies have been adapted especially for beginners, using number-coded circles instead of musical staff or notes. The sheet music is suitable for 10-17 note kalimbas and the most modern kalimbas already have engraved numbers and letters representing the name of the notes. The notes become higher as you move away from the center and alternate from right to left. The songs cover two or three octaves and I use dots to indicate different octaves.Follow the numbers and enjoy the music!Note: Some melodies have been changed and simplified for a diatonic range. This book includes 43 Christmas and gospel songs:Away in a MangerChrist Was Born on Christmas DayDesk the HallsGo, Tell It on the MountainJingle BellsJolly Old Saint NicholasJoy to the World! The kalimba came from Africa, but it is perfectly suitable for any kind of ethnic music. The kalimba has a rather meditative quality since each sound can be observed separately. Mindful observation of playing each note can even induce a trance state in the listener.Although mantras are not typically played on the kalimba, you can have a unique spiritual experience nonetheless. If you love yoga, meditation or are interested in Indian culture, playing mantras will evoke a deep resonance in your heart. Here are 20 Indian mantras adapted for 10 and 17 key kalimbas. All songs are in easily readable diatonic arrangements with number notation. My aim is to make playing as simple as possible.Even if you don't have any musical background, you will begin to play very fast.I added a QR code to all songs. You can follow the link and listen to the rhythm and the melody before beginning to play.ContentsAdi Mantra of Kundalini YogaDevi Devi Devi Yagan MohiniGauri Gauri Gange RajeshwariGayatri MantraGreen Tara MantraHara Hara MahadevaHare KrishnaJai Radha Madhav KunjabihariJaya Ho MataKali Durgai Namo NamahLokah Samastah Sukhino BhavantuMaha Mrityunjaya MantraNamo Tassa BhagawatoOm BhagavanOm Namo Bhagavate SivanandayaOm Shakti OmShankara KarunakaraShivananda Namah OmShivaya ParameshwarayaSiri Gayatry Mantra

This book is for kids or adults who are absolute beginners in music. I tried to write it as simply as possible. I use an "easy-to-play" visual aid so any beginner can play music quickly. Neither kids nor their parents have to read sheet music or have a musical background. No previous knowledge is necessary.Every song has a large and simple, letter-coded visual, along with traditional sheet music. There is a total of 22 songs and 2 options to help children to begin to play right away.PLAYING BY LETTER CIRCLEPLAY WITH THE MUSICAL STAFFThe player can first follow the circles and then repeat with the classic note symbols and staff. The helpful letters are always above the notes. There are 3 parts in this book. They are equal to 3 levels.Level 1Songs that are played in one octave. All songs here appear twice: once written with circles and the next time with classic music notes. Level 2In this part, you will find one version with both circles and notes and a more advanced version of the song with notes and musical notation.Level 3Here, the first two songs are versions of the same melody (different combinations of notes) written with circles and notes. This is important so that the beginner can see how the same melody can be played in different keys.Additionally, you find funny riddles with engaging activities to teach musical notes and symbols.Table of contentsLevel 1Mary Had a Little LambOde to JoyThe Whills on the BusJolly Old Saint NicholasTen Little FingersLondon BridgeDo You Know the Muffin Man?we Wish You a Merry ChristmasThe First NoelBrahms LullabyRow Row Your BoatItsy Bitsy SpiderSilent NightOh SusannahLevel 2Hot Cross BunsAre You Sleeping?Old McDonaldLevel 3Jingle BellsLa CucarachaYankee DoodleHappy BirthdayAmazing GraceMusic Note ValuesMusical Puzzles

The kalimba or mbira is a traditional and typical African instrument. It consists of metal keys attached by a wooden support structure. Normally, the African mbira has 4-20 keys, but there also exist mbiras with 45 keys. One of the ethnic groups of people of Zimbabwe, the Rosvi, are called "Mbira people".Music is often associated in Africa with magic. As the African proverb says: "the spirit cannot ascend to heaven without a song".This educational book will help you begin to play music simply and easily. If you are a beginner, playing by notes can be difficult. It is easier to play the finger piano by following numbers. Learn how to play music in a quick and easy way, without knowledge of reading sheet music. You have never played music before or you cannot read sheet music, but you want to play famous and inspiring hymns and spirituals. Don't worry! You will begin to play right away. I made my pictured sheet music as simple as possible. You'll play by number-coded circles. No musical staff or notes. The easy-to-play songs and melodies were adapted especially for beginners. The melodies have been transposed to one octave and simplified. Also, the number-coded notations have been added and complex notes and symbols have been reduced. Such simplification makes it possible for people to play melodies, especially those who can't read music or who have never played music before. For tongue drums that have numbered musical notation, numbers 1 to 7 represent the keys of the diatonic major scale. All songs in this book have been written with numbers because most modern tongue drums have numbers engraved or painted on their keys. There are the following hymns and spirituals in this book:Amazing GraceBabylon's FallingBe Still My SoulChrist Was Born on Christmas DayDeck the Halls with Boughs of HollyElijah RockEvery Time I Feel the SpiritGod Is So GoodGreat Big StarsGreat DayHe's Got the Whole World in His HandsHoly, Holy, HolyI've Got Peace Like a RiverJesus Loves MeJingle BellsJolly Old Saint NicholasJoy to the World! I call this series "Read by Picture" since I are targeting little readers. I offer the easiest way to make reading books with children a pleasure, even for those children who listen to reading reluctantly. With the usual type of reading, a child is a passive listener, while with "reading by picture", he or she becomes an active participant.Even if children can already read, they are happy to read texts where some of the words are replaced by pictures and perceive it as a bonus or a prize. It is more important to receive such bonuses for children who are just starting to read, or for whom reading still requires effort.A small child can only voice words represented by pictures. This "reading" not only makes kids a full participant in the process but also teaches them to reconcile the words of the picture with other words in the sentence.Older children may try to read words from a vocabulary list that appears before the text. A child who has begun to read will be able to enjoy reading the entire text.If you are reading to your little one, please read slowly. Let your child think about the sentence, find the right word, and enjoy the reading process. Some words in this book are changed to pictures. Each story has a pictured vocabulary list at the beginning. Includes 7 simple stories understandable and relatable for kids.Great book for non-English speaking children to learn and remember new words in a fun game-based reading activity.

Playing traditional music notes is difficult for people who have no musical knowledge. You need to know the rhythmic value of each note, its place on the staff, note duration, and combination with other notes. To be aware of all this simultaneously demands music experience and advanced skills. Nevertheless, even if you have never studied music, you can begin to play complicated melodies, and also experiment with your tongue drum in a meditative way.The steel tongue drum (aka tong drum, tank drum, gluck-o-phone, hapi drum, mandala or lotus drum) and the handpan (aka hank drum, UFO drum, zen drum) are percussion musical instruments designed to help you focus on your feelings, sensations and body. You don't need classical music training or knowledge of music theory to play them.I collect very simple and well-known songs and melodies with easy rhythms. You can begin to play in just two steps. First, you will play using circles that contain either a number, without having to consider note duration, key, or time signatures. These numbers correspond to those on the keys of your tongue drum. So you just need to follow the numbers. You can get an idea of how the song might be played by listening to the YouTube clip of the same song, which you can access with the QR code below each song. Then, if you find that you can play the song with more confidence, you can try using the second page of the same song, with the actual notes. There, the same melody is written in a traditional manner with all the necessary musical symbols. However, I simplified the melodies in this step as well, transposing the most songs for one octave, leaving the numbers under the notes. I hope that playing these simple melodies will bring you a new relaxation and meditation experience filled with a lot of joy.ContentsAlphabet SongBobby ShaftoCobbler, Mend My ShoeChumbaraDing Dong DiggiDiggiDongFive Little MonkeysHumpty DumptyI Love Little KittyJack and JillMy HatOld Mother Hub

Each hole on the ocarina is represented by circles. The circles filled in black indicate which holes should be covered while playing. The open circles mean they should be uncovered. The bottom circles correspond to the holes on the ocarina which are closest to your mouth. Storytelling and activity songs and rhymes have a long tradition, and at times, they have passed down from generation to generation. My book has more pictures than words in order to methodically introduce each movement and associate it with a spoken word.I use two kinds of pictures:1) pictures that tell a story or plot which can be discussed, and2) pictures showing motions that will be repeated throughout the activity songs and rhymes. They are detailed so it is not necessary to go back each time.In my book, you will find 5 popular activity rhythms with very detailed pictures of each gesture. You and your kids will be able to learn each finger/hand movement step by step, bringing enjoyment to both of you.Contents:- Patty Cake- In a Cabin in the Woods- Five Little Monkeys- This Little Piggy- Here are Grandma's GlassesYou might ask why you should buy e-books with fingerplays when there are so many free videos on YouTube.I believe that parents should define the development and entertainment of their children. Video content is entertainment, not a participatory game. It is created by somebody else, not the child, and grabs the attention of kids against their will. This e-book also provides instruction for the hand movements, but gives the child the space for their own sense of creation. Hand gestures are not done for the child, but by the child. Here is a chance for kids to think, learn, and to try for themselves. Also, the e-book suggests more activities compared with simply repeating from an image on a screen. Kids can see all gestures step to step, try them and feel them. This gives them the chance to see themselves from the outside looking in, modifying when necessary to get it just right. This self-analyzing ability is an extremely important skill for their future lives.

The unique advantage of bell sets is the fact that each note is created by an individual bell, so the notes that are not used in a particular song can be removed and the student has a greater chance for success. A handbell orchestra acts as one instrument, with each musician responsible for their particular notes, sounding their assigned bells whenever those notes appear in the music. All songs were written with circles in the musical staff, and there are no stems or flags - only notes on the line - to keep it simple. It is easier to follow color-coded circles with note letters. I call this series "I don't read music" since I'm targeting beginners of all ages: children, teens, parents, and grandparents. This book includes 58 familiar and easy-to-play folk songs and melodies. Each song here is written with color circles and letter notes inside. All songs have been simplified and transposed for one octave. This learning sheet music will be most useful for the instrument with the color scheme below: C = red, D = orange, E = yellow, F = green, G = light blue, A = blue, B = violet, and C8 = red.Since this book is aimed at the absolute beginner without any knowledge of reading music, I do not use here the classical music staff and do not show the note duration. This book is aimed at those who want to add popular melodies to their experimentation. All songs in this book have been written without using the classic music score system, because it is for absolute beginners who cannot read sheet music.I use circles with numbers because most modern tongue drums have numbers engraved or painted on their keys. I do not show the note duration - I just group the circles closer to each other to show the rhythms. You can experiment with duration on your own. Because most tongue drums include and are tuned to involve the notes of the main octave, all songs from this e-book are possible to play in one octave. This e-book includes very simple, popular children's and folk songs, but even well-known children's songs played on the drum will create an unusual magical sound.Attention: Songs have been transposed for a DIATONIC range. Some melodies might be changed and simplified. If you have flat keys on your instrument, please use the classic music score for the piano.Contents:IntroductionRub-a-Dub-DubThe Wheels on the BusMiss Mary MackHappy BirthdayDoggie DoggieMary Had a Little LambOh We Can Play on the Big Bass DrumTwinkle, Twinkle Little StarA Hunting We Will GoKookaburraOde to JoyDo You Know the Muffin Man?Old Bald EagleLa CucarachaA Sailor Went to SeaAre You Sleeping? The Mulberry BushOld McDonaldBim Bum BiddyLondon BridgeJingle BellsTinga LayoItsy Bitsy SpiderWe Wish You a Merry ChristmasBrahms LullabyNinety-Nine BottlesJolly Old Saint NicholasOh SusannahRow Row Your BoatAcka BackaHot Cross BunsBell Horses

All songs in this book have been written without using the classic music score system because it is for absolute beginners who cannot read sheet music. I collected very simple and well-known songs and melodies with easy rhythms. You can begin to play just now using circles that contain either a number, without having to consider note duration, key, or time signatures. These numbers correspond to those on the keys of your tongue drum. So you just need to follow the numbers.Attention: Songs have been transposed for a DIATONIC range. Some melodies might be changed and simplified.ContentsAlphabet SongA Hunting We Will GoA Sailor Went to SeaAcka BackaAre You Sleeping?Baa Baa Black SheepBaby Bumble BeeBell HorsesBim Bum BiddyBobby ShaftoBrahms LullabyChumbaraCobbler, Mend My ShoeCock-a-Doodle DooDing Dong DiggiDiggiDongDo You Know the Muffin Man?Doggie DoggieFiddle-Dee-DeeFive Little DucksFive Little MonkeysFrog in the MeadowHappy BirthdayHot Cross BunsHumpty DumptyI Like to Eat Apples and BananasI Love Little KittyIt's RainingItsy Bitsy SpiderJack and JillJingle BellsJolly Old Saint NicholasKookaburraLa CucarachaLittle Jack HornerLondon BridgeMary Had a Little LambMiss Mary MackMy HatNinety-Nine BottlesOde to JoyOh SusannahOh We Can Play on the Big Bass DrumOld Bald EagleOld BlueOld McDonaldOld Mother HubbardOne, Two, Three, FourRain, Rain, Go AwayRing Around the RosieRow Row Your BoatRub-a-Dub-DubSee-Saw Margery DawTen in the BedThe Bee and the PupThe Big SheepThe Mulberry BushThe Wheels on the BusThis Old ManTinga LayoTo Market, To MarketTwinkle, Twinkle Little StarWe Wish You a Merry Christmas

If your only singing has been in the shower, let us help you become a real musician. And you can do it with any instrument. Even a toy piano, if it is tuned. What do you need for your musical success? Equipment for starters. It could be any key instrument like a piano, melodica, kalimba, marimba, synthesizer, xylophone, glockenspiel, or a color bell set with 8 bells or more.Drums, tambourines, castanets, and music rattles are also welcome. The main argument for the idea of not being able to play in a band with your child immediately is I CANNOT READ MUSIC SHEET. Don't worry! You don't have to!The sheet music book has 2 parts:Part 1. No musical staff or notes. Simply follow the circles with letters. To show the rhythm, I grouped the circles together. Every song in this section was adapted for the newbie - you - just 8 notes (one octave).Part 2. Here you'll see traditional musical notes and staff added. But don't worry - the helpful letters are still there.Attention: Songs have been transposed for a DIATONIC range. Some melodies might be changed and simplified. If you have flat keys on your instrument, please use the classic music score for the piano.Songs:1. Hot Cross Buns2. Are you sleeping?3. Mary had a Little Lamb4. The wheels on the Bus5. Twinkle. You and your kids will be able to learn each finger/hand movement step by step, bringing enjoyment to both of you.Contents:- I've got Five Fingers in My Pocket- A Sailor Went to Sea, Sea, Sea- Open, Shut Them, Open, Shut Them- One Little FishYou might ask why you should buy e-books with fingerplays when there are so many free videos on YouTube.I believe that parents should define the development and entertainment of their children. Video content is entertainment, not a participatory game. It is created by somebody else, not the child, and grabs the attention of kids against their will. This e-book also provides instruction for the hand movements but gives the child the space for their own sense of creation.
