The Work book is designed to provide students with core Statistical skills necessary to support their accurate manipulation and interpretation of numerical data and enhance the essential analytical & managerial skills to support an accurate and sound approach to decision making. Statistical knowledge helps you use the proper methods to collect the data, employ the correct analyses, and effectively present the results. Statistics is a crucial process behind how we make discoveries in science, make decisions based on data, and make predictions. To this end students will be provided with an introduction to the basic tools of statistics essential for a proper understanding of Economics and Business courses within the Management both in the first and subsequent years of study. Students will have the opportunity to practice the application of the analytical and quantitative skills through the medium of selected topics that are developed and analyzed in depth. The purpose of this book is to provide a fairly self-contained explanation of the Economics of Pakistan. I have attempted to explain as fully as possible the assumptions of Economics of Pakistan and to give a fairly extensive development of the various results. The book assumes that the students have a good introductory knowledge about Economy of Pakistan. I hope that readers of various backgrounds will be able to work through the material provided in the book. I hope that this book will adequately satisfy all the needs of students enrolled in MBA / BBA / M.Com / B.Com and intermediate in above mentioned subject. I felt there was no reason for Pakistan should stay apart from the region. I thought a book was needed on Pakistan and the country future. In preparing the Manuscript, Mr. Farukh Malik & Mr. Nadeem Ahmad did their excellent job in editing the different chapters. My heartiest thanks to them.

I hope that this book will adequately satisfy all the needs of students enrolled in MBA / BBA / M.Com / B.Com in the subjects of Management, Micro & Macro Economics Today skills are needed to deal with the Public. We need to be critical consumers of information presented by others. As we need to be able to reduce large information into a concise & meaningful form to enable us to make effective interpretations, judgments & decisions. Pakistan is in crises. It is recognized by all the citizens. What is needed at this difficult moment in Pakistan¿s history is a development paradigm that simultaneously seeks to go over the number of obstacles that have slowed down the pace of economic growth. I want to make a difference in the lives of my students through content knowledge, demonstration and participation of why Economics, Management and Statistics are crucial in this world!
