»The Legitimation of Residual Debt Discharge. Since the introduction of the InsO, the legislator has made fundamental modifications to the conditions of debt relief. The upcoming implementation of the EU Restructuring Directive indicates that the system will continue to change and move away from its original ideas in the near future. This gives rise to a critical examination of past and likely future developments.
