Presentiamo un modello basato sull'anatomia della paziente per prevedere la percentuale del volume polmonare e/o cardiaco omolaterale che riceve almeno una certa dose nei trattamenti mammari con campi di radioterapia esterna statica tangenziale. L'introduzione ci guiderà brevemente attraverso la malattia del cancro al seno e l'importanza della radioterapia esterna nel suo trattamento, così come il lavoro che comporta un trattamento radioterapico fino a raggiungere il cuore del lavoro: il quadro teorico del modello. Le variabili definite nel quadro teorico e calcolabili attraverso il file di struttura DICOM di ciascun paziente, saranno utili per prevedere il volume che l'isodose occupa all'interno degli organi a rischio.

Nous présentons un modèle basé sur l'anatomie du patient pour prédire le pourcentage du volume pulmonaire et/ou cardiaque ipsilatéral recevant au moins une certaine dose dans les traitements du sein avec des champs de radiothérapie externe tangentiels statiques. L'introduction nous guidera brièvement à travers la maladie du cancer du sein et l'importance de la radiothérapie externe dans son traitement, ainsi que le travail impliqué dans un traitement de radiothérapie jusqu'à ce que nous atteignions le c¿ur du travail : le cadre théorique du modèle. Les variables définies dans le cadre théorique et calculables grâce au fichier de structure DICOM de chaque patient, seront utiles pour prédire le volume que l'isodose occupe dans les organes à risque.

Wir stellen ein Modell vor, das auf der Anatomie der Patientin basiert, um den Prozentsatz des ipsilateralen Lungen- und/oder Herzvolumens vorherzusagen, der bei Brustbehandlungen mit statischen tangentialen Feldern der externen Strahlentherapie mindestens eine bestimmte Dosis erhält. In der Einleitung wird kurz auf die Krankheit Brustkrebs und die Bedeutung der externen Strahlentherapie bei ihrer Behandlung eingegangen, und es werden die mit einer Strahlentherapie verbundenen Arbeiten erläutert, bis man zum Kern der Arbeit gelangt: dem theoretischen Rahmen des Modells. Die im theoretischen Rahmen definierten Variablen, die anhand der DICOM-Strukturdatei jedes Patienten berechnet werden können, sind nützlich, um das Volumen vorherzusagen, das die Isodose in den gefährdeten Organen einnimmt.

Apresentamos um modelo baseado na anatomia da paciente para prever a percentagem de volume ipsilateral do pulmão e/ou do coração que recebe pelo menos uma certa dose nos tratamentos mamários com campos tangenciais estáticos de radioterapia externa. A introdução guiar-nos-á brevemente através da doença do cancro da mama e da importância da radioterapia externa no seu tratamento, bem como do trabalho envolvido num tratamento de radioterapia até chegarmos ao núcleo do trabalho: o quadro teórico do modelo. As variáveis definidas no quadro teórico e calculáveis através do ficheiro de estrutura DICOM de cada paciente, serão úteis para prever o volume que a isodose ocupa dentro dos órgãos em risco.

We present a model based on patient anatomy to predict the percentage of ipsilateral lung and/or heart volume receiving at least a certain dose in breast treatments with static tangential fields of external radiotherapy. The introduction will briefly guide us through the disease of breast cancer and the importance of external radiotherapy in its treatment, as well as the work involved in a radiotherapy treatment until we reach the core of the work: the theoretical framework of the model. The variables defined in the theoretical framework and computable through the DICOM structure file of each patient, will be useful to predict the volume occupied by the isodose within the organs at risk.
