Three deadly children, one mischievous god, and Asgard to save. The time has come to face Hel. Despite their productive efforts to fill the goddess of Helheim's demands, Kara and her companions have come up short. Still, Odin demands they retrieve Balder at any cost. A peaceful solution is uncovered, if only the quick-to-wrath goddess will accept their offer.The Midgard serpent is loose on the realms, leaving Thor and the Valkyries unsure where he will turn up next. He leaves destruction in his wake as he searches for Asgard.On top of dealing with Jormungandr and Hel, Fenrir's tether thins, and the hound is ready to unleash his wrath on Odin. Angering all three siblings at once has been predicted to start Ragnarok.

A bargain struck. A sacrifice made, and the price is high. Loki's hound son grows stronger and his temper shorter, igniting fear in the gods of Asgard. They must restrain him before he becomes too strong to handle and brings Ragnarok upon them. Desperate for a tougher restraint, Kara and Thor, accompanied by her trusty dragon and friends, travel to the realm of Svartalfheim, seeking the dwarves' expertise. They soon learn that they will gain nothing without sacrifice.

Hunted, banished, and desperate to rectify her errors. The pressure is real. Capture the weaselly god, Loki, and his children will unleash their vengeance. Leave him free, and he will weave his deception with dire consequences. With banishment added to the mix, the only way to rectify the situation is to recapture Loki. It's a demand Kara must accept. Unable to return to Asgard, Kara is sent to the peaceful realm of Alfheim to enhance her light magic. Once again, trouble seems to find her, obstructing her path with dubious characters and smashing her judgment of who can be trusted. The race is on to enhance her magic and capture Loki before he deceives her again. If she doesn't, her exile will last forever.

The secret is out, severing trust that might never mend. Before the meaning of the deception is deciphered, Asgard comes under attack. Who will protect it? Will the new army come to the realm’s aid or rally against it? Kara must decipher who is on her side before it’s too late. No one is safe, not even the dragons.

Kidnapped by a giant and unable to use her magic, Kara finds herself at his mercy. She is dragged to the land of the giants and trapped within a mountain. Only the unconscious palace guards know what happened to her. While trapped, she receives a visit from Loki, who answers some of her questions, yet certain suspicions remain unquenched. Two soul-reaping armies make a trade, putting Kara in a predicament she wouldn't have thought possible. Information Kara discovers about Loki and the zmey places Kara in an awkward position with her dragon friend Elan and the rest of the dragons. She faces the torturous decision of keeping a secret from them or telling them the truth and planting a seed of distrust that could trigger retaliation.

The mistress of an academy should be unbiased. She should support the excellent work of all her students, whether they are winged or wingless. In a perfect world, she would. The Valkyrie Academy is not a perfect place.Kara and her two wingless friends, Hildr and Eir, are at the receiving end of Mistress Sigrun's "just" justice. They must partake in a fight without rules and no guarantee of finishing alive.Only the future will reveal if the mistress will keep the fight fair.

Kara found out the hard way. Just because she did the right thing didn’t mean a god would give his blessing. Instead, it was the opposite when honoring agreements that grate against a god's wishes. Now, she is on the run from Odin and anyone following his commands, and she finds herself safe in the wastelands with the wild dragons, or so she thinks. Unless she can find a way to be accepted back into Valkyrie school and not be imprisoned, her future is in peril.

After everything that Kara has done for Asgard, she thinks they will let her participate in the honorable jobs of the winged Valkyries. She is wrong. Instead, Odin is determined to take Elan away and make her dragon his. Whether he’s a god or not, she isn’t going to let that happen. And of course, Elan can defend herself. But then Elan disappears.After several searches, Kara grows worried. She hopes that Elan is visiting her mother, not somewhere more sinister.
