I have brought my Atheist Bear to church many times, but he never listens. He never asks to hear anything. But, the people in the church have asked to hear these things, so even though his picture is on the cover, it's their interest that is satisfied. These are all messages which were actually requested by people about things they wanted to know. There are things in here to interest every Christian and those who are interested in knowing about God's word. Among them, we'll talk about how to heal a broken heart, what to do when people turn against you, how to cope, how to resolve conflicts.

Pronouncements are statements not to be ignored. They are intended to give a real benefit and not merely blather or bother. In fact, following the Pronouncements of the Major prophets will keep you from bother. They are just as pointed today as they were then for what God is calling us to is eternal.

Poetry cuts right to the heart of the matter and the poet and the reader or hearer. It doesn't merely provide information, but puts it in a setting where it can live and breathe. The Poetic books of the Old Testament did exactly that.

Mail can seem almost sacred. We are offended if people read a letter addressed to us that we did not want them to read. There are times when we like to keep what we know to ourselves and not let anyone else get in on it. We, however, are going to get to read somebody else's mail. This book looks at selections from all the New Testament epistles other than any from the book of Romans which is covered in a series of four books listed on page 2 inside. These are not letters of the dead past, but messages of eternity. Let's read them and not miss out on them.

This is the book which shows Jesus as a child prodigy, something out of the ordinary, something far better than Mozart or any other child genius ever was. We would hardly need any other record than that, but we're given more than enough to establish the case of Jesus' prodigiousness.
