Angel has a habit of meeting everyone. She is one social little doggie. And then, the day came when the empty house next door became a home for a soon-to-be best friend. His name was Ryan. Communication was a "woof, woof" over the neighboring fence to a soft voice asking to see "Angel". Dad came up with an idea and cut a hole in the fence so they could talk easier. From that day on, Angel and Ryan would communicate regularly and more than often see each other after that. Soon Tracey discovered that Ryan had a learning challenge. Tracey picked up on it right away. Fortunately, Tracey and her best friends other than Angel, Nancy Ann, and Sarah had already formed the 'Girls Club'. Those three girls and Angel were always getting into something. Adventure was their middle name, but being the best students, the girls were always looking for new tasks. Then, along came Ryan. He needed a community of friends...especially ones, who would support him on so many levels. And then there was Angel. A little dog, a neighbor, a best buddy who would do anything for his new friend. She was up for any chore that was given to her. Angel was open to making people happy. She loved her friends and now Ryan was her newest friend.

Tracey is growing up. She has learned to become very responsible at home, at school, and in her everyday life. Tracey's Parents are very proud of her. Their neighborhood is full of dogs. They feel she now can have a dog of her own. And that is where I come in. My name is Angel. I am a handful...and I do not mean I get in trouble. I am literally only a handful in size. I am a Toy Poodle. My family is the very best; I work in the garden with my Dad; I wait patiently in the kitchen when Mother makes me doggie cookies, and Tracey is my very best friend. We do everything together. After a time, I am old enough to accompany Tracey to school. This story is about the adventures I get in with my best friends Tracey, Nancy Ann, and Sarah. And then there are my doggie friends. Oh yes, we do get into some situations. But at the same time, as the story unfolds, the reader learns how to show love, kindness, and responsibility towards raising a dog.

Jonathan’s world is changing…..he, his mother, and his dog Snapper are moving from one upper class area to another after his father has passed. This is just before school begins. This is a new school for Jonathan and is located in a struggling area of town. Jonathan is quite unaware of the challenges this school will bring. Being light skinned, he has to rise up above the attitudes of some of the students, several being the prominent bullies of the school.With the move, his mother, who is a doctor, has a new position at the local hospital. She too is meeting new people. Both she and Jonathan have to adjust to their new home, their new community, and the new people in their life.And Lionel. The student who always walks around with his nose in his books. A friendly face in the crowd who wants to be a buddy to Johnathan; Jonathan invites him into his life; friendship transcends obstacles; and, there is nothing like a friendship…..no matter where the friends live.

Growing up, every kid has a best friend. Tracey has Nancy Ann.These two young ladies are off to Camp Sugar Pine with a new set of rules to learn and responsibilities to take in. They think it is going to be just fun, fun, and more fun with lots of activities and many new girls to meet. Many, more friendships are in the making.  But they run into a stumbling block: their counselor “Big B”. She is a drill sergeant, who has her antenna pointed in their direction at all times.Nevertheless, they do get into mischief, and fun; whether it is encouraging animals to evade their bungalow, getting drenched in a cloudburst while getting lost in the woods, falling into the poison oak, or getting caught while at the boys’ campground which was off limits, anything can happen. And it does.

Behind in her studies, Tracey must pay the price. Her social activities have been curtailed. She has lost the privilege of the use of her cell phone. Her world is upset down.But then life changes. Mr. Harding, the principal, has given Tracey the responsibility to show a new student, Sarah Browning around the school.Within a short period of time, Tracey, her best friend Nancy Ann, and Sarah become good buddies.Growing up, there can be three best friends not just two.The winter holidays are arriving soon.
