    La nanotechnologie s'est imposée comme l'une des nouvelles technologies innovantes les plus prometteuses pour traiter les eaux usées de manière plus efficace et efficiente que les méthodes utilisées jusqu'à présent. La nanotechnologie est l'étude et la mise en ¿uvre de nanomatériaux à des fins d'ingénierie. Les nanomatériaux sont caractérisés au moins par l'une des trois mesures de l'échelle du manomètre, concernant à la fois l'échantillon et les éléments structurels du matériau. Dans un pays en développement comme l'Inde, les industries se concentrent davantage sur la production et la génération de revenus, et n'accordent pas d'importance aux aspects environnementaux de leurs activités. La principale forme de pollution est la pollution de l'eau. Elle est due au déversement d'eaux usées mal traitées par les industries dans les masses d'eau naturelles. Dans cette étude, des tests sont effectués pour étudier l'efficacité du TiO2 pour traiter les eaux usées industrielles dans un processus de traitement continu. Les échantillons ont été testés pour différents paramètres avant et après traitement. Les résultats impliquent que le TiO2 a réussi à traiter les échantillons provenant des industries laitières et textiles.

    Today¿s industrial environment is competitive, it is well known fact that paper mill wastes like lignin causing enormous destruction and producing negative impacts on national economics.Though it is almost impossible to fully recoup the damage caused by lignin, it is possible to minimize the potential risks. Last couple of year¿s some difficulties comes in to picture which results in development of country. Lignin is main factor of environment pollution. The residue from combustion of pulverized coal that is waste by product from thermal power station is known as fly ash (pozzolana). Although it is not a cementitous, it combines with lime to form a material having cementing properties. In this project of aim is to study the removal of lignin from paper mill wastes using fly ash and coconut husks as an adsorbent and compare the suitability of these two materials.The use of such technique would result in a number of benefits not only it would either controlling lignin waste strength but it will also provide valuable empirical data for the improvement of treatment on lignin and further protect environment with the use of unproductive waste like coconut husk and fly ash.

Nanotechnology is the study and implementation of nano materials for engineering purposes. Nano materials are characterized at least in one of three measurements by manometer scale, concerning both the sample and structural elements of the material. In a developing country like India, industries emphasis more on production and revenue generation, and do not give importance to the environmental aspects of their operations. The major form of pollution is water pollution. This is due to the discharge of improperly treated waste waters from industries into natural water bodies. In this study, tests are conducted to study the treatment efficiency of TiO2 to treat the industrial wastewater in a continuous treatment process. The samples were tested for various parameters before and after treatment. The results implied that TiO2 was successful in treating the samples from dairy, textile industries.
