His wife, Mary Dear Brunt, was the, FIRST, female Sheriff in Cherokee County, Texas, "PISTOL PACKIN'' MAMA." A Grandma or Grandmother is an older woman, wife, mother, and complete   caregiver of her family. Her FAITH in the, Good Lord, courage, strength, and  endurance is "beyond human understanding." Her WORD is to be honored and respected and "woe to those who do not heed, hear, listen, or learn." Her LOVE is all abiding, encompassing, and understanding. Her ABILITY as a nurse, Doctor, teacher, counselor, cook, and housekeeper is to be REMEMBERED by those women, who "follow in her footsteps."
