The work studies the spontaneous city spreading process of Juba after the civil war in South Sudan. The book presents the complex transformations of spatial, economic, family, religious and ethnic patterns within the new urban settings of post-war Juba. The presented material comes from the author's ethnographic research conducted in 2007-2008.
