The reception or interpretation of Don Quixote up to the present has been erroneous, although it would be fairer to say nonsensical, because it has been inserted into a framework of idealistic thought that was imposed in Spain from the seventeenth century onwards, homologating itself to the European one. Thus it also turns out that this book not only exposes the obvious and easily identifiable meaning of Cervantes' novel but, at the same time, tries to show the reader what realism is, mainly the Spanish realism of the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries, which, as Dámaso Alonso has already seen, is not identified with the so-called European realist novel of the nineteenth century. If we had to say, however, who this realism resembles, we would surely have no better reference than the so-called Realist School in International Relations. So we dedicate the exemplarity that Cervantes gives us to it.

A receção ou interpretação de Dom Quixote até hoje tem sido errónea, embora seja mais justo dizer disparatada, porque se inseriu num quadro de pensamento idealista que se impôs em Espanha a partir do século XVII, homologando-se ao europeu. Assim, verifica-se também que este livro não só expõe o sentido óbvio e facilmente identificável do romance de Cervantes, mas, ao mesmo tempo, tenta mostrar ao leitor o que é o realismo, principalmente o realismo espanhol dos séculos XV e XVI, que, como já viu Dámaso Alonso, não se identifica com o chamado romance realista europeu do século XIX. Se tivéssemos de dizer, no entanto, com quem este realismo se assemelha, não teríamos certamente melhor referência do que a chamada Escola Realista das Relações Internacionais. A ela dedicamos, pois, a exemplaridade que Cervantes nos dá.

La réception ou l'interprétation de Don Quichotte jusqu'à aujourd'hui a été erronée, bien qu'il serait plus juste de dire absurde, parce qu'il a été inséré dans un cadre de pensée idéaliste qui s'est imposé en Espagne à partir du XVIIe siècle, s'homologuant à celui de l'Europe. Il s'avère donc que ce livre ne se contente pas d'exposer le sens évident et facilement identifiable du roman de Cervantès, mais qu'il tente en même temps de montrer au lecteur ce qu'est le réalisme, principalement le réalisme espagnol des XVe et XVIe siècles, qui, comme l'a déjà vu Dámaso Alonso, ne s'identifie pas avec le soi-disant roman réaliste européen du XIXe siècle. Toutefois, si nous devions dire à qui ressemble ce réalisme, nous n'aurions certainement pas de meilleure référence que la soi-disant école réaliste des relations internationales. C'est donc à elle que nous dédions l'exemplarité que nous offre Cervantès.

Die Rezeption bzw. Interpretation des Don Quijote war bis heute fehlerhaft, oder besser gesagt unsinnig, denn er wurde in einen idealistischen Denkrahmen eingefügt, der in Spanien seit dem siebzehnten Jahrhundert vorherrschte und sich mit dem europäischen homologierte. So zeigt sich auch, dass dieses Buch nicht nur den offensichtlichen und leicht erkennbaren Sinn des Romans von Cervantes aufdeckt, sondern gleichzeitig versucht, dem Leser zu zeigen, was Realismus ist, vor allem der spanische Realismus des 15. und 16. Jahrhunderts, der, wie Dámaso Alonso bereits gesehen hat, nicht mit dem sogenannten europäischen realistischen Roman des 19. Jahrhunderts identifiziert werden kann. Wenn wir jedoch sagen müssten, wem dieser Realismus ähnelt, hätten wir sicherlich keine bessere Referenz als die so genannte realistische Schule der internationalen Beziehungen. Daher widmen wir ihr die Beispielhaftigkeit, die Cervantes uns gibt.

La ricezione o l'interpretazione del Don Chisciotte fino ad oggi è stata errata, anche se sarebbe più giusto dire insensata, perché è stata inserita in un quadro di pensiero idealistico che si è imposto in Spagna a partire dal XVII secolo, omologandosi a quello europeo. Così si scopre anche che questo libro non solo espone il significato ovvio e facilmente identificabile del romanzo di Cervantes ma, allo stesso tempo, cerca di mostrare al lettore che cos'è il realismo, principalmente il realismo spagnolo dei secoli XV e XVI, che, come ha già visto Dámaso Alonso, non si identifica con il cosiddetto romanzo realista europeo del XIX secolo. Se dovessimo dire, però, a chi assomiglia questo realismo, non avremmo sicuramente un riferimento migliore della cosiddetta Scuola realista nelle relazioni internazionali. Ad essa dedichiamo quindi l'esemplarità che Cervantes ci offre.
