Em conclusão, os hábitos de higiene são importantes para a autoestima, pelo que se recomenda que os hábitos de higiene sejam cultivados desde os primeiros anos da infância, altura em que a personalidade da criança é mais permeável e a aquisição de práticas e hábitos relacionados com a saúde pode ser feita de forma gradual.
