Variations of pictures include streets, buildings, churches, hospitals, hotels, schools, and neighborhoods around Norfolk. Many historical places are found in these souvenir picturesque sights intertwined with memorabilia of the times. These gems of the past are compared to the present with modern photographs of the same location. A revelation of the history of urban growth is revealed over a century when the past is viewed with remnants of the present. Thus, Norfolk is depicted then and now in a very unique and historical manner.
