"A Good Dream is Better than a Filthy Reality."These words could have been spoken by a legendary heroic figure but were instead expressed by America''s most notorious pirate, Edward Teach, better known as Blackbeard. Having recently plundered his first ship from an unwitting merchant captain, Cristian Chaucer, Blackbeard begins a reign of terror upon the seas. Having survived the attempt on his life, Cristian returns with a plan to destroy Blackbeard once and for all. However, everything takes a drastic turn when Blackbeard threatens the last remnant of Cristian''s former life, his daughter Isabel. Blackbeard''s treacherous regime is about to be torn down because of a father''s love, culminating in the bloodiest of sea battles and the most heartbreaking of sacrifices.

Only in fighting for the humanity of others will Bruno uphold his own. However, an even more formidable foe comes to threaten Bruno, this being his own demons manifested in that of a heartless, soulless creature fueled by Redding's own doubts and misgivings. Bruno must fight to uphold what remains good within him, and this he can only accomplish with Pamela and his alien companion. Alone Bruno will only fall victim as he has before. Only with the help of his friends can he combat the likes of Mars and Eidon, and save his soul from his personal demon along with the lives of countless others in the process.
