Das Kolonial-Wirtschaftliche Komitee in Verbindung mit der Kolonial-Abteilung des Auswärtigen Amtes unterstützen das Anliegen. Zweck der Reise war die Verbesserung in der Technik der Erntezubereitung sowie die Einführung neuer nutzbringender Kulturen in die deutschen Schutzgebiete.
