Ce document se concentre sur l'aidant en tant qu'être à part entière qui, lorsqu'il s'occupe de manière permanente ou temporaire d'un membre de sa famille, l'amène à faire face à de nouvelles formes d'adaptation ; ce syndrome de stress de l'aidant a des répercussions économiques, professionnelles et familiales qui affectent le bien-être tant de la personne handicapée que de l'aidant informel et de sa famille. De cette manière, il est possible d'identifier les facteurs sociaux impliqués dans le processus de soins et, en même temps, de renforcer l'engagement du personnel de santé à développer des actions qui favorisent des soins égaux et humanisés tant pour l'aidant que pour le patient, et qui, par ces actions, améliorent la qualité de vie des deux sujets.

Este artigo centra-se no cuidador como um ser integral, que ao experimentar o cuidado permanente ou temporário de um membro da família, leva a pessoa a enfrentar novas formas de adaptação; esta síndrome de stress do cuidador tem repercussões económicas, profissionais e familiares que afectam o bem-estar tanto da pessoa com deficiência como do cuidador informal e da família. Desta forma, é possível identificar os factores sociais envolvidos no processo de prestação de cuidados e, ao mesmo tempo, reforçar o empenho do pessoal de saúde no desenvolvimento de acções que favoreçam a igualdade e a humanização dos cuidados prestados tanto ao prestador de cuidados como ao doente e, através destas acções, melhorar a qualidade de vida de ambos os sujeitos.

Il presente lavoro si concentra sul caregiver come essere integrale, che quando sperimenta l'assistenza permanente o temporanea di un membro della famiglia, porta la persona ad affrontare nuove forme di adattamento; questa sindrome da stress del caregiver ha ripercussioni economiche, lavorative e familiari che influenzano il benessere sia della persona con disabilità che del caregiver informale e della famiglia. In questo modo, è possibile identificare i fattori sociali coinvolti nel processo di cura e, allo stesso tempo, rafforzare l'impegno del personale sanitario per sviluppare azioni che favoriscano un'assistenza equa e umanizzata sia per il caregiver che per il paziente, e attraverso queste azioni migliorare la qualità della vita di entrambi i soggetti.

Dieses Papier konzentriert sich auf die Pflegeperson als ganzheitliches Wesen, das bei der ständigen oder vorübergehenden Pflege eines Familienmitglieds die Person mit neuen Formen der Anpassung konfrontiert; dieses Stresssyndrom der Pflegeperson hat wirtschaftliche, berufliche und familiäre Auswirkungen, die das Wohlbefinden sowohl der Person mit Behinderungen als auch der informellen Pflegeperson und der Familie beeinträchtigen. Auf diese Weise ist es möglich, die sozialen Faktoren, die in den Pflegeprozess involviert sind, zu identifizieren und gleichzeitig das Engagement des Gesundheitspersonals zu stärken, um Maßnahmen zu entwickeln, die eine gleichberechtigte und humanisierte Pflege sowohl für die Pflegeperson als auch für den Patienten fördern und durch diese Maßnahmen die Lebensqualität beider Personen verbessern.

This study focuses on the caregiver as an integral being who, when experiencing permanent or temporary care of a family member, has to face new forms of adaptation; this caregiver stress syndrome has economic, occupational and family repercussions that affect the well-being of both the person with disabilities and the informal caregiver and family. In this way, it is possible to identify the social factors involved in the caregiving process and at the same time strengthen the commitment of health personnel to develop actions that favor equal and humanized care for both the caregiver and the patient, and through these actions improve the quality of life of both subjects.
