The main research question in the book is how the Macedonian multiethnic model after the Ohrid Framework Agreement, staggering between Nationalism, Multiculturalism and ¿Alexander-maniä, induced Ethnic Democracy. The authoritarian government 2008-2016 kept the ¿ethnic matters¿ at low level and made multicultural dilemmas diminish. The book consists of a range of papers that explain in more details what has happened after the ¿Ohrid Agreement¿, the multicultural labyrinths, the identity of the modern Macedonians, and the future of the multicultural model that can be proved or denied in cases like the Republic of Macedonia. At the beginning, the author argues that the management of ethnic differences must reconcile the two nationalisms, otherwise, contrary to this, the ¿battle¿ for resources and symbols between Macedonians and Albanians will reinforce the affections toward their own national (ethnic) identity. After 15 years, the ethnic identification deepens and engenders the creation of two societies ¿ Macedonian and Albanian, which hinders better co-existence. The only way forward is by overcoming ethnic democracy through more inclusive, post-ethnic categories.

Textele de fä¿, care reprezint¿ graiurile meglenoromâne din toate satele din Grecia ¿i din unicul sat Uma aflat în Republica Macedonia de Nord, sunt culese în perioada între 2000 ¿2005 de Petar Atanasov ¿i de Radu-Mihail Atanasov. Unele dintre ele au fost publicate în monografia Meglenoromâna ast¿zi "2002" iar celelalte le prezent¿m în lucrarea de fä¿ care, sper¿m, s¿ vad¿ pe curând lumina tiparului. Informatorii au fost în general oameni în vârst¿ care cuno¿teau bine graiul matern din diferitele localit¿¿i meglenoromâne. O bun¿ parte dintre ei au p¿r¿sit locurile natale în perioada R¿zboiului Civil din Grecia "1946-1949" stabilindu-se în diverse oräe din Republica Macedonia de Nord. Unii dintre ei au trecut în ve¿nicie între timp împreun¿ cu graiul lor pe care tinerii din ambele ¿¿ri nu prea îl vorbesc. Textele se refer¿ la viäa oamenilor, la activit¿¿ile lor în trecut ¿i în prezent, la suferin¿ele cauzate de r¿zboaiele care au avut loc în aceast¿ zon¿, de p¿r¿sirea locurilor natale si de dorul lor unde s-au n¿scut. Interesant este de subliniat c¿ în textele informatorului Tanov, scrise de el la mân¿ cu caractere chirilice, de¿i n-a f¿cut nici o or¿ de român¿.

Medical grade PDMS elastomer is a widely used biomaterial in medicine and for production of high-tech devices ¿ MEMS and NEMS. Results on experimental study of the PDMS-elastomer processing by fs-, ps- and ns-lasers, working in UV, VIS and NIR regions of the spectra are presented. Different processing parameters as pulse duration, fluency, scanning speed, and overlapping of the subsequent pulses are varied in order to activate and change the surface morphology. High definition trenches are produced. Analyses by 3D Color Laser and Optical Microscope, XRD, SEM, XPS, and ¿-Raman are accomplished in order to get information about the structural morphology and alteration of the chemical composition of the ablated traces. Optical properties of the processed material are specially studied and evaluated. Finally, attempts for successful metallization by Pt or Ni via electro less plating of the trenches produced are accomplished. The metallization process is not sensitive to the time interval after the laser treatment. The results are very promising and confirm the expectation to use such a laser-based technology and metallization for micro- or nano-fabrication of hi-tech devices.
