Jean-Christophe, Journey¿¿¿¿¿¿¿s End: Love and Friendship, The Burning Bush, The New Dawn is a novel written by French author Romain Rolland and published in 1913. The book is the final installment of a six-part series that follows the life of the titular character, Jean-Christophe Krafft, from his childhood in Germany to his eventual move to France. In this final book, Jean-Christophe has settled in Switzerland with his wife and children, but he is still haunted by the memories of his past and the people he has lost along the way. As he reflects on his life, he is forced to confront his own mortality and the legacy he will leave behind. The novel is divided into four parts, each focusing on a different theme. The first part, Love and Friendship, explores the relationships between Jean-Christophe and the people he loves, including his wife, his children, and his friends. The second part, The Burning Bush, is a spiritual journey in which Jean-Christophe seeks to find meaning in his life and his place in the world. The third part, The New Dawn, is a reflection on the future and the possibilities that lie ahead. Jean-Christophe looks to the next generation and hopes that they will build a better world than the one he has known. The final part, Journey¿¿¿¿¿¿¿s End, is a meditation on death and the end of life. Jean-Christophe must come to terms with his own mortality and find peace in the knowledge that he has lived a full and meaningful life. Overall, Jean-Christophe, Journey¿¿¿¿¿¿¿s End: Love and Friendship, The Burning Bush, The New Dawn is a powerful and moving conclusion to Rolland¿¿¿¿¿¿¿s epic series. It is a testament to the enduring power of love, friendship, and the human spirit. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.

Eaglefield Hull With 24 Musical Illustrations And 4 Plates And An Introduction By Edward CarpenterThis book is a result of an effort made by us towards making a contribution to the preservation and repair of original classic literature. In an attempt to preserve, improve and recreate the original content, we have worked towards:1. Type-setting & Reformatting: The complete work has been re-designed via professional layout, formatting and type-setting tools to re-create the same edition with rich typography, graphics, high quality images, and table elements, giving our readers the feel of holding a 'fresh and newly' reprinted and/or revised edition, as opposed to other scanned & printed (Optical Character Recognition - OCR) reproductions.2. Every attempt was made to rectify the imperfections related to omitted constructs in the original edition via other references. However, a few of such imperfections which could not be rectified due to intentional\unintentional omission of content in the original edition, were inherited and preserved from the original work to maintain the authenticity and construct, relevant to the work.We believe that this work holds historical, cultural and/or intellectual importance in the literary works community, therefore despite the oddities, we accounted the work for print as a part of our continuing effort towards preservation of literary work and our contribution towards the development of the society as a whole, driven by our beliefs. Romain Rolland (29 January 1866 - 30 December 1944) was a French dramatist, novelist, essayist, art historian and mystic who was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1915 "as a tribute to the lofty idealism of his literary production and to the sympathy and love of truth with which he has described different types of human beings". He was a leading supporter of Josef Stalin in France and is also noted for his correspondence with and influence on Sigmund Freud. Rolland's most significant contribution to the theatre lies in his advocacy for a "popular theatre" in his essay The People's Theatre (Le Théâtre du peuple, 1902).
