Together the two contemplate the slow death of rationality in a free society, and whether fear and paranoia will ultimately triumph over hope and reason. It begs the question: with the body politic at one another's throats, and daily calls for book bans, wall building, and even civil war, can the fabled cannonball rider and raconteur extraordinaire take on his most outrageous adventure yet and save this country from itself?
