L¿animation socioculturelle offre un vaste champ d¿action, au sein duquel oeuvrent de nombreux animateurs, qüils soient professionnels ou volontaires, et si les structures peuvent différer, elles ont toutes pour but commun l¿accueil d¿enfants pendant les périodes hors temps scolaire. Par souci de précision, l¿objet de notre recherche se limitera à l¿animation socioculturelle volontaire et non professionnelle, à savoir celle qui relève de diplômes tels que le Brevet d¿Aptitude aux Fonctions d¿Animateur (BAFA) et le Brevet d¿Aptitude aux Fonctions de directeur (BAFD) ; elle concerne donc des accueils collectifs de mineurs tels que les accueils de loisirs et les séjours de vacances.
