This is a research book of Enhancing Managerial Competencies Through Yogic Practices deals with Yogic Practices, Principles on which they are based and the scientific back-ground of the same. The Yogic Practices can have real practical value, provided its principles are not mixed up with those of some other therapy. Even in some of the modern schools of Yoga, one finds a strong tendency and temptation to mix these up, either perhaps with an innocent view to obtain sanction of to add ¿elegance¿ to demonstrations. Medical men, on the other hand, are prone to look upon the system as some form of special techniques. The Yogic procedures do contain some techniques, but it is to be noted that the physiology of ordinary dynamic and violent exercises cannot be applied to them. Yogic practices, however, do not consist of mere exercise; it is a composite training procedure which attention to all aspects of Managerial functions. The study was specifically focused to study the responses and behavior of the respondents on the intrinsic values like integrity, honesty, compassion, ethics morality etc. and the importance of the same in the corporate culture as a whole.

Hearty thanks to the Supreme Power which gave me the opportunity to write my dream book. It represents oneself and Supreme power through the medium of meditation or discovering yourself. First of all, one should be aware of himself/herself. What is my ultimate aim of life? Where shall I go and what can I do for the benefit of society. The Brahma Kumaris focuses on understanding oneself, and discovering the healthy way of living. It is a concept which is inspiring lots of people not only from India, but across the world. Now it becomes a worldwide phenomenon. It helps people in self-realization and connects them to the supreme God through surrendering themselves to the omniscient power, which is not visible, but only can be realized through the various forms of meditation. It also encourages people to help other people who have lost their goals in life and are unable to rediscover themselves. This book will work as a channel for attainment of the goals which are still incomplete. Through the book, not only the people who are reading this will benefit, but the people surrounding them and people in connection with them will also be benefited.

Gracias de corazón al Poder Supremo que me dio la oportunidad de escribir mi libro de sueños. Representa a uno mismo y al Poder Supremo a través de la meditación o el descubrimiento de uno mismo. En primer lugar, uno debe ser consciente de sí mismo. ¿Cuál es el objetivo final de mi vida? ¿Adónde debo ir y qué puedo hacer en beneficio de la sociedad? Brahma Kumaris se centra en la comprensión de uno mismo y en el descubrimiento de una forma de vida saludable. Es un concepto que está inspirando a mucha gente no sólo de la India, sino de todo el mundo. Ahora se ha convertido en un fenómeno mundial. Ayuda a las personas a autorrealizarse y las conecta con el Dios supremo a través de la entrega al poder omnisciente, que no es visible, pero que sólo puede realizarse a través de las diversas formas de meditación. También anima a la gente a ayudar a otras personas que han perdido sus objetivos en la vida y son incapaces de redescubrirse a sí mismos. Este libro funcionará como un canal para la consecución de las metas que aún están incompletas. A través del libro, no sólo se beneficiarán las personas que lo lean, sino también las personas que las rodean y las que están relacionadas con ellas.
