Essay from the year 2017 in the subject Business economics - Investment and Finance, grade: 5.50, Anglia Ruskin University, language: English, abstract: This report addresses a paradox: high profit and at the same time significant debts for the company. Seen from this perspective, the profit regarded as the difference between the total revenue and the total costs and the cash flow seen as the incomings and outgoing of cash of a particular company is somehow different. One of the reasons for that is the usage of the accounting conventions of the accruals; however the issues relating to the working capital management are also of importance. In this field of development, the way changes in the working capital affect cash flow will be analyzed and important recommendations will be made.

Essay from the year 2016 in the subject Politics - International Politics - Topic: European Union, grade: 5.50, New Bulgarian University, language: English, abstract: The question posed in this paper is the following - how the current refugee flow affects the migration policies in the European Union. However, what is important to be mentioned here is the fact that within the EU there is considerable freedom of travel, in most cases--without border checks. Moreover, for the security of the external borders, the individual countries receive support from the European Agency Frontex, as well as from a number of electronic databases relating to visa facilitation, input/output control and applicants for asylum. In special cases, however, individual European countries have the right and are obliged to take special measures for the protection of external borders ¿ for example through the construction of fences or other facilities. These have already been raised, for example in Bulgaria, Greece, Spain, and in recent days Hungary and began to build a "wall", as well. Member States have the right to close its borders to the other European States only in extreme situations and temporary. The decision for such a measure, however, is taken at European level. At present, the Union needs to clarify the migration policies that it is going to follow in regard to the current migration flows.

Academic Paper from the year 2018 in the subject Tourism - Hotel Industry / Catering, grade: 6, Anglia Ruskin University, language: English, abstract: The aim of this briefing document is to assess the importance of all eight Gartner building blocks for the existence of successful CRM. This is particularly important as one of the CRM definitions states that the customer relationship management strategy (CRM) represents, in fact, the process of regulation of all the aspects of the company's synergy with its prospective customers, sales and service. In brief, that is the reason why any kind of fragmentation of its functions should be avoided and the latter is presented in the case of Firmdale Hotels. Additionally, the Gartner CRM model and the activities where customers are personally and repeatedly involved are given priority. Also, its purpose is to describe how the productive usage of CRM software establishes information, providing the value proposition for a given client; the transition of assets also helps to fulfil customer needs in a better way. Firmdale Hotels like many other organizations need to be able to include all the ¿eight building blocks¿ in their everyday activities.

Essay from the year 2017 in the subject Politics - International Politics - Topic: European Union, grade: 5.00, BF Vienna, language: English, abstract: The question posed in this paper relates to the latest EU-Commission President Elections and the European Parliament's role in them. The examination of this question is imperative since recent literature on the subject has regarded the situation of the democratic deficit within the Union as simply "putting a little more weight" on the average's citizen's vote by convincing them that they are also voting for not just national representatives, but for Commission President, as well. Unfortunately, this is a matter usually ignored in today's studies on the subject. This paper, therefore, describes the whole election process and explains the election process in 2014 (Jean-Claude Juncker), all specifications, all differences and circumstances. However, it gives some interesting conclusions on what the EP's real motivation was? However, it is not clear whether it was power, policy or democracy. If we take for granted that different motivations might have existed, and ask why the European Council accepted the "Spitzenkandidaten" procedure, we will reach some interesting conclusions. Formally, the Council is in charge of nominating the Commission president, and member states until then have always wanted to keep this privilege. Hence, exploring the issue what important member states said about the EP's initiative, how they reacted, and why some of them in the end gave their assent will be beneficial for the essay.

Diploma Thesis from the year 2016 in the subject English Language and Literature Studies - Literature, grade: 5.00, New Bulgarian University, language: English, abstract: The question posed in this thesis concerns the usage of idioms in the everyday language, as well as in the book ¿The Monogram Murders¿. This paper, therefore, argues that in the non-literal language, some differences are obvious, and thus we can recognize an idiom quite easily. However, there are differences and divisibilities in the idioms themselves - some of them bear the meaning of their compounds while others are simply composed of words that cannot be used with their literal meaning, especially in the context of the idiom itself. The language as a system of communication has both literal and often figurative meanings. However, in the historical grammaticism such a meaning was often used in order to give notions like metaphors, similes, proverbs and idioms. Most of them often carry a metaphorical sense that makes their comprehension difficult, as in fact their meaning cannot be inferred/guessed from the meaning of their constituent parts. Taking all of the abovementioned into account, in the present thesis I will present the results of the research I have made based on the idiomatic usage in the novel of Agatha Christie ¿The Monogram Murders¿. Due to the extensive length of my research, I will focus on the idioms that have made their impression on me and on their translation into Bulgarian. The aim of this graduate thesis is to evaluate and describe the idiomatic expressions used in the novel ¿The Monogram Murders¿ by Agatha Christie. That kind of analysis is particularly interesting as it concerns the work of art of ¿ famous writer that from ¿ semantic point of view describes the ideas composing the whole book.
