En esta investigación se realiza una revisión bibliográfica en torno al evento de desplazamiento, se contrastan los verbos de desplazamiento entre el chino, el español y el inglés para tratar la relación entre el repertorio léxico de verbos de desplazamiento de una lengua y el patrón dominante que rige en ella, y, teniendo en cuenta los datos del chino y el español, se propone la interacción entre el verbo y la preposición en la codificación de la Trayectoria Direccional del evento de desplazamiento.
