The book ¿Lectures on Electromagnetic Fields, Waves, Energy & Their Applications (With Worked Examples),¿ is put together in a conversational manner with adequate mathematical step-by-step explanations. The mathematical explanations became very necessary due to the imaginative nature of the subject. That notwithstanding, nearly all mathematical expressions have been thoroughly explained with adequate references made to their physical meanings. This, hopefully, would make readers to have a good understanding of the contents of the book. The last chapter of the book has been devoted to solving numerous examples often encountered by students in Electromagnetic Fields & Waves. It is hoped that the worked examples would enable readers to acquire deeper understanding of the subject. The book adequately covers the syllabus for B.Sc. degree requirements in Electromagnetic Fields & Waves. It would equally serve as a good refresher source for higher degree students of Electrical Engineering.

The book ¿Lectures on Transmission Lines for Electrical Engineers, (With Worked Examples)¿ is written from first principles as transmission lines are. The parameters that are inherent in the lines are brought into the fore and used articulately to model the lines for accurate representation and understanding. Electrical engineers need to familiarize themselves with the theory behind transmission lines, hence how to handle designs involving them. A lot of time had been devoted to solving circuit problems both diagrammatically and analytically using several mathematical approaches. Also, circuits have been synthesized and analyzed. It is written from experience obtained from teaching digital/discrete-time control systems in the university to post-graduate systems for several years. In order to carry students along, worked examples are presented at the end of most chapters. In some chapters, as the need arises, the examples are given right in the main discussions of the subject.
