This work is the first and only book on the fundamentals of ultrasonic machining. It presents the foundations of dynamic and control for ultrasonic processing systems and considers ultrasonic systems as special vibratory machines that function by exploiting nonlinear dynamic processes.

Especially designed as self-sustaining oscillating systems, resonant robotic systems use the natural modes of oscillation of electromechanical modules for their movements. The authors summarize the results and experience of research on, and development of, resonant robotic systems.
