No es propiamente un área de altura, pero tampoco llanera, es una mixtura geoespacial, productiva, vial, dialectal y así es su población. Economía, vialidad, sociedad, cultura y manifestaciones turísticas donde afloran la simbiosis de los pueblos originarios, los navegados de Europa, África y las recientes oleadas. Se trata, en suma, de una unidad dentro de la diversidad, eso es la comarca orituqueña.
