O presente estudo centrou-se no caso de duas regiões de saúde na Costa do Marfim. A fim de identificar os determinantes significativos da utilização de ARV neste último, começamos por apresentar as características sociodemográficas, clínicas e médicas dos pacientes. Estabelecemos então correspondências entre o estado ARV, o estado de aderência e as características acima referidas antes de elaborarmos uma tipologia de pacientes. Finalmente, uma dupla modelação dos determinantes do estado ARV e do estado de aderência foi realizada utilizando, respectivamente, um modelo LOGIT multinomial e um modelo LOGIT binário. Os resultados da implementação destes instrumentos mostram que, de acordo com a categoria do estado ARV, os determinantes significativos são, entre outros, a actividade médica do paciente, a natureza do local, a presença de ONG no local, a região onde a visita é efectuada, a fase clínica, a história da IST/Ios, o peso do paciente e o ponto de entrada para os cuidados.

The present study focused on the case of two health regions in Côte d'Ivoire. In order to identify the significant determinants of ARV use among these patients, we first presented the sociodemographic, clinical and medical characteristics of the patients. We then established the correspondences between ARV status, adherence status and the above characteristics before drawing up a typology of patients. Finally, a double modelling of the determinants of ARV status and adherence status was performed using, respectively, a multinomial LOGIT model and a binary LOGIT model. The results of the implementation of these tools show that according to the category of ARV status, the significant determinants are, among others, the medical activity of the patient, the nature of the site, the presence of NGOs at the site, the region where the visit is made, the clinical stage, the STI/IoT history, the weight of the patient and the point of entry for care.

Die vorliegende Studie konzentrierte sich auf zwei Gesundheitsregionen der Elfenbeinküste. Um die signifikanten Determinanten der ARV-Nutzung bei diesen Frauen zu identifizieren, haben wir zunächst die soziodemographischen und klinischen Merkmale sowie die medizinische Aktivität der Patientinnen dargestellt. Anschließend ermittelten wir die Entsprechungen zwischen dem ARV-Status, dem Compliance-Status und den oben genannten Merkmalen und erstellten eine Typologie der Patientinnen. Schließlich wurde eine doppelte Modellierung der Determinanten des ARV-Status und des Compliance-Status mit Hilfe eines multinomialen LOGIT-Modells bzw. eines binären LOGIT-Modells durchgeführt. Die Ergebnisse der Anwendung dieser Werkzeuge zeigen, dass je nach Kategorie des ARV-Status die signifikanten Determinanten unter anderem die medizinische Aktivität der Patientin, die Art der Einrichtung, die Präsenz von NGOs an der Einrichtung, die Region, in der der Besuch stattfindet, das klinische Stadium, die STI/IOS-Anamnese, das Gewicht der Patientin und die Anlaufstelle für die Behandlung sind.

Il presente studio si è concentrato sul caso di due regioni sanitarie della Costa d'Avorio. Al fine di identificare i determinanti significativi dell'uso di ARV in questi ultimi, abbiamo prima presentato le caratteristiche sociodemografiche, cliniche e mediche dei pazienti. Abbiamo poi stabilito delle corrispondenze tra lo stato di ARV, lo stato di aderenza e le caratteristiche di cui sopra prima di elaborare una tipologia di pazienti. Infine, è stata eseguita una doppia modellizzazione delle determinanti dello stato ARV e dello stato di aderenza utilizzando, rispettivamente, un modello LOGIT multinomiale e un modello LOGIT binario. I risultati dell'implementazione di questi strumenti mostrano che secondo la categoria di stato ARV, i determinanti significativi sono, tra gli altri, l'attività medica del paziente, la natura del sito, la presenza di ONG nel sito, la regione in cui viene effettuata la visita, la fase clinica, la storia STI/Ios, il peso del paziente e il punto di ingresso per le cure.

Para identificar los determinantes significativos del uso de ARV en estos últimos, presentamos primero las características sociodemográficas, clínicas y médicas de los pacientes. A continuación, establecimos las correspondencias entre el estado de los ARV, el estado de adherencia y las características mencionadas antes de elaborar una tipología de pacientes. Por último, se realizó una doble modelización de los determinantes del estado antirretroviral y del estado de adherencia utilizando, respectivamente, un modelo LOGIT multinomial y un modelo LOGIT binario. Los resultados de la aplicación de estas herramientas muestran que, según la categoría del estado de ARV, los determinantes significativos son, entre otros, la actividad médica del paciente, la naturaleza del lugar, la presencia de ONG en el lugar, la región donde se realiza la visita, el estadio clínico, los antecedentes de ITS/Ios, el peso del paciente y el punto de entrada para la atención.
