Der Inhalt dieses Buches ist teils biografisch, teils ein Sachbuch. Keinesfalls ein Lehrbuch. Es beruht auf meinen Tagebucheinträgen, die nur unvollständig verfasst waren, auf Erinnerungen und auf Dokumenten, die ich für meine Schülerinnen und Schüler bei Bedarf ausdruckte.Es war nie für eine Öffentlichkeit vorgesehen, so dass ich - vor allem in Sachbuchkapiteln - über manche Passage hinweg über keine Quellen verfüge. Sollte jemand Urheberrechtsverletzungen feststellen bittet der Autor ihm dies mitzuteilen. Im Kontext des Buches dürfte es zu keinen gravierenden Beanstandungen gekommen sein. Falls doch bitte ich dies zu entschuldigen.Der Zeitraum umfasst auch nur einen kleineren Abschnitt meines Lebenswerks. Ich bitte alle Nichterwähnten oder zu Kurzgekommenen um Verständnis, wenn ich nicht allen Erwartungen entsprechen konnte. Glücklich war ich darüber, dass ich bereits so vieles der Kernthemen meines Lebens niedergeschrieben hatte und nur noch zu ordnen war, bevor ich in meinen ersten Rententagen so früh die Diagnose Lungenkrebs übermittelt bekam. Eigentlich hätte das Buch viel umfangreicher werden sollen und auch noch mit mehreren Folge-Büchern ergänzt werden. Zu vieles blieb nicht genannt... kein Platz, vielfach auch keine Erinnerung mehr vorhandenaber: dass nichts wichtiger ist als alles andere.
