Through heartfelt verses I let you walk with me into shattered dreams, passing by fragments of love, dealing with mental health and the healing process along the way. I capture raw emotions that I experienced during times of heartbreak, times I felt like I was on a slow descent into hell's place of darkness and despair. you will walk with me through my struggle to escape my hell and the transformation as I rise from the ashes. He began writing at a young age as a way of expressing himself- his feelings and his view of the world. His work is unique in the way he relays his stories in poetic form.

What does it mean to provide hope, encouragement, solace and joy to a dear friend who is staying with you during a clinical trial for pancreatic cancer? My faith informs me that no love is greater than friendship; to lay down one's life for a friend. And yet, I think the power of friendship is generally undervalued by our culture. These poems arose from that context, both personal and societal, as I nurtured plants in my summer garden, ran daily errands in the car, and shared meals and laughter with our friend and her husband, always looking for signs of strength and hope for our days together.

Die Poetin schreibt über kleinste Alltagsepisoden, genauso, wie über die Pflanzen im Garten, streift Politik, Gegenwart und Vergangenheit. Liebe und Trauer finden in ihren Texten genauso statt, wie Erinnerungen an Jugend und Kindheit. Ergänzt werden die Texte mit Illustrationen der Autorin. Sie nennt sie Schnipselkunst. Bedrucktes Papier, Blütenblätter, überzeichnet mit Strukturen, die verbinden und verdichten. Auch diese Collagen kann man als poetische Kommentare lesen.
