My creation is about people's emotions during a relationship and possible outcomes. Despite our various backgrounds, we have an intriguing commonality--romantic relationships. Sharing smiles and cries with a partner on an intimate level is a familiar societal structure. This bond can be initiated with a stare, a laugh, or a simple conversation. Then it can evolve in the workplace, gym, nightclub, worshipping center, etc.Nobody truly wants to be alone. Human beings will tolerate disrespectful behavior from their supposed soulmate because of that desperation. However, companionship is a risk for everyone, but the reward can be joyous and priceless. Real-life relationships are not like the scripted television shows or movies. It can destroy and inspire at the same time.Although we will always have a beginning and an end, the journey can make or break you. Good luck!

  • von Hamlin Garland

Money Magic is a classic novel by Hamlin Garland that was first published in 1907. The story follows the life of a young man named Joe Louden, who grows up in rural Wisconsin and dreams of making it big in the city. Joe is determined to become wealthy and successful, and he believes that money is the key to happiness and fulfillment. As he grows older, Joe moves to Chicago and begins to work in the stock market. He quickly rises through the ranks and becomes a successful investor, but he soon realizes that his pursuit of wealth has come at a cost. He has become consumed by greed and materialism, and he has lost touch with the things that truly matter in life. The novel explores themes of ambition, greed, and the corrupting influence of money. It also examines the role of family, friendship, and love in shaping our lives and our values. Through Joe's journey, the author offers a cautionary tale about the dangers of pursuing wealth at all costs and the importance of finding balance and meaning in our lives. Money Magic is a timeless work of literature that continues to resonate with readers today. It is a thought-provoking and insightful exploration of the human condition and the complexities of modern society. Stories and novels of American writer Hannibal Hamlin Garland include the autobiographical A Son of the Middle Border and depict the hardships that Midwestern farmers endured. People best know this American novelist, poet, essayist, and short story writer for his fiction, involving hard-working Midwestern farmers. Hannibal Hamlin Garland was born on a farm near West Salem, Wisconsin, on September 14, 1860, the second of four children of Richard Garlin of Maine and Charlotte Isabelle McClintock. The boy was named after Hannibal Hamlin, then candidate for vice-president under Abraham Lincoln. He lived on various Midwestern farms throughout his young life, but settled in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1884 to pursue a career in writing. He read diligently in the public library there. His first success came in 1891 with Main-Traveled Roads, a collection of short stories inspired by his days on the farm. He serialized a biography of Ulysses S. Grant in McClure's Magazine before publishing it as a book in 1898. The same year, Garland traveled to the Yukon to witness the Klondike Gold Rush, which inspired The Trail of the Gold Seekers (1899). He lived on a farm between Osage, and St. Ansgar, Iowa for quite some time. Many of his writings are based on this era of his life. A prolific writer, Garland continued to publish novels, short fiction, and essays. In 1917, he published his autobiography, A Son of the Middle Border. The book's success prompted a sequel, A Daughter of the Middle Border, for which Garland won the 1922 Pulitzer Prize for Biography. After two more volumes, Garland began a second series of memoirs based on his diary. Garland naturally became quite well known during his lifetime and had many friends in literary circles. He was made a member of the American Academy of Arts and Letters in 1918.

Doughnuts for God is a novel set during the momentous times of the early twentieth century. The horrors of World War I, the fear, sorrow, danger, and suffering were beyond anything the five young women of the Salvation Army could imagine when they committed themselves to God's service. But when the United States entered the war, they felt called to follow the path of their charismatic and somewhat mysterious commander, Captain Flora Green, confident in her leadership and God's hand on their lives. They all bonded together during their service as "Doughnut Dollies" in the battlefields of France and afterward in hospitals, caring for the influenza victims back home while each of them coped with the aftereffects of the war's impact on their lives.

The Casablanca Quartet is a series of four historical novels telling the fascinating story of the city of Casablanca between the American military landing in 1942 (the United States' first in the Western Hemisphere in World War II) and the end of the French protectorate in 1956. The central character is the city that was then one of the world's most cosmopolitan and violent. Its story is told through a dozen characters, most based on real people whose stories have rarely been told, including: an American Navy pilot who crashes into Morocco in 1943, returning years later to build a secret American bunker housing an atomic bomb; a Moroccan prostitute and tattoo artist trapped in a vast brothel built by the French administration; a cell of Moroccan "terrorists" detonating bombs in Frenchtown; a gang of rightwing French "counter-terrorists" machine-gunning local cafes in the name of the "real" Morocco; a lowly policeman working as a hitman for the French secret services; a powerful French politician whose love for his adopted country, and for the wrong person, will lead to his assassination; and the first Moroccan pilot, a charismatic girl of fourteen, who becomes a powerful symbol of freedom. Their adventures intersect, transforming each person in unexpected ways, while echoing our contemporary clash between the West and the Arab world, including the consequences of colonialism, the politicization of terrorism, and more fundamentally, our eternal struggle to break free as individuals. The Casablanca Quartet is an astonishing feat of research and imagination that will reward fans of works like John Dos Passos's U.S.A. and David Simon's series The Wire, as well as history buffs. This second volume includes the third and fourth books, Resistance and Freedom, and a first includes the first and second books, War and Peace.
