Der zweite Teil erschließt das persönliche Fotoalbum des Oberkommandierenden mit dem Titel Bilder aus dem Krieg in Südwestafrika von Generalleutnant v. Trotha, das von der Forschung bislang nicht rezipiert worden ist.
