Die Ausgestaltung des Annahmeverfahrens für Verfassungsbeschwerden muss die Gewährung effektiven Grundrechtsschutzes einerseits und die begrenzten Entscheidungskapazitäten des Verfassungsgerichts andererseits in Einklang bringen. In der vorliegenden Arbeit wird aufgezeigt, welche materiellen und prozessualen Regelungen beim Bundesverfassungsgericht und beim US Supreme Court den Zugang zur Verfassungsgerichtsbarkeit steuern. Unter Berücksichtigung eines prozeduralen Überprüfungsansatzes und demokratietheoretischer Erwägungen wird anschließend das Modell eines deliberativen Annahmeverfahrens entwickelt, das die verfassungsgerichtlichen Ressourcen bestmöglich nutzt. This book examines social transformation during the Tang-Song period by focusing on the emergence and development of the "society of moneyed elite" in ancient China. Les conclusions de cette étude soutiennent un modèle de prestation de services qui s'appuie sur les forces des municipalités en matière de redistribution. Per guidare il processo di ricerca è stato utilizzato l'approccio della Grounded Theory. I dati dello studio sono stati ricavati da 15 interviste semi-strutturali in un comune di medie dimensioni dell'Ontario. Tra i partecipanti, gli stakeholder dei servizi sociali comunali, il consiglio comunale, le organizzazioni di base e i membri della comunità di Ontario Works. I risultati di questo studio sostengono un modello di fornitura di servizi che si basa sui punti di forza dei comuni in materia di ridistribuzione. I risultati suggeriscono inoltre che i comuni dovrebbero avere maggiore flessibilità a livello di attuazione delle politiche.

However, several decades into the orbital journey of these countries, little is known of their space politics, policies, strategies, capacities and capabilities, and realisation of desired objectives. This research employs the qualitative research method, using indepth oral interviews and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) as tools for data collection. Through an extensive examination of the conflict's causes, effects, and potential mitigation strategies, this study offers a comprehensive understanding of this complex challenge. It finds that the causes of these conflicts are diverse, ranging from illegal encroachments into farmlands, climate change, population growth, and inadequacies in government policies.These root causes have far-reaching implications for food security in the region. The effects of farmers-herders' conflicts on food security are dire. Loss of human lives, mass displacement, land degradation, and increased hunger have been identified as the significant consequences. These effects compound an already fragile food security situation in Benue State, rendering it a matter of critical concern. In response to these challenges, this research proposes a multifaceted approach to mitigate the conflict's impact on food security. This includes enlightenment campaigns for value reorientation, the replacement of offensive terms and policies, the formation of open public forums for discussions, the avoidance of hate speeches, and the implementation of an effective land distribution approach. These strategies are aimed at fostering unity and understanding between farmers and herders, leading to sustainable peace and ultimately enhancing food security in Benue State.

In this way, the paper seeks to reinforce the argument that women leadership has been central to the global response to the pandemic compared to male leadership.The ongoing Covid-19 pandemic has devastated the world with high rates of infection and mortality, changing life in fundamental ways from the old conventions with global commerce ground to a halt. As a result, authorities around the world are implementing a number of measures aimed to discontinue the deadly pandemic. However, with nearly a year since the pandemic emerged beyond its origin, the different containment and mitigation measures employed by various countries have shaped the evolution of the virus in each country. Some commentators have however noted that countries led by women have been exemplary in their handling of the pandemic compared to those led by men.

This book deals with the citizenship status of the Biharis in Bangladesh and their ability to access rights associated with citizenship. The main argument of the book is that although legally the Biharis are citizens of Bangladesh, they still do not have access to many important rights of citizenship that can make their citizenship meaningful. Their inability to access many important citizenship rights made them de facto stateless, although they are de-jure citizens. Taking a law and society approach this book examines both legal and non-legal factors behind the deplorable conditions of the Biharis in Bangladesh. Based on fieldwork, this book analyses that the Biharis¿ inability to access citizenship rights is inconsistent with citizenship theory, citizenship laws, and the Constitution of Bangladesh. To make the Biharis citizenship effective or meaningful the author suggests some recommendations for policy changes that would enable Biharis to access rights associated with citizenship.

At a time of widespread disillusion, citizens keep telling us how ¿frustrated¿ they feel with their democracies. However, whilst scholars and commentators alike have heard that complain millions of times, we may not have taken it as seriously as we should. The author takes the concept of democratic frustration literally and puts it under an unprecedented analytical and empirical microscope. She applies insights from the psychology and political science literatures and uses a mixture of panel studies, surveys, interviews, and experiments to understand its sources, nature, dimensions, and consequences. The book sheds unprecedented light on pathologies of democratic frustration in the US, UK, Australia, and South Africa with a double focus on the general population, and on young people.
