I am one of those who believe, as do many people, that education from colonial times to the present day has been managed as an ideological instrument for the domination given by power relations. That education has always been managed expressing the interests of the class that dominates and responding to a "truth" imposed in an alienating way, so that they never questioned the instruction received, where reflection, analysis does not touch the brain of the learner, thus becoming the "formation" of a huge herd that is herded according to the objectives, purposes and goals of the ruler, keeping it isolated from a reality that gradually enslaves and plunges into intellectual and material poverty to the vast majority of the population. There are those who pretend to ignore that the genesis of our educational systems in Latin America, including the Caribbean, was born as a result of a relationship of force, that is to say, of power relations. That power was used at that time, so that education would fulfill the purpose, the objective and the end so that it would have a USEFUL value in the service of God and the Spanish Metropolitan State -in other words- USEFUL to God and the King.

Je suis de ceux qui croient, comme beaucoup, que l'éducation, depuis l'époque coloniale jusqu'à aujourd'hui, a été utilisée comme un instrument idéologique pour la domination des relations de pouvoir. Ce pouvoir a été utilisé à l'époque pour que l'éducation remplisse le but, l'objectif et la finalité, pour qu'elle ait une valeur UTILE au service de Dieu et de l'État métropolitain espagnol - en d'autres termes, UTILE pour Dieu et pour le Roi.

Sou daqueles que acreditam, como muitas pessoas, que a educação, desde os tempos coloniais até aos dias de hoje, tem sido utilizada como um instrumento ideológico de dominação das relações de poder. Essa educação sempre foi manejada para expressar os interesses da classe que domina e para responder a uma "verdade" imposta de forma alienante, para que a instrução recebida nunca fosse questionada, onde a reflexão e a análise não tocassem o cérebro do educando, tornando-se assim a "formação" de um imenso rebanho que é pastoreado de acordo com os objetivos, propósitos e finalidades do governante, mantendo-o isolado de uma realidade que aos poucos escraviza e mergulha a grande maioria da população na pobreza intelectual e material. Há quem pretenda ignorar que a génese dos nossos sistemas educativos na América Latina, incluindo as Caraíbas, nasceu de uma relação de força, ou seja, de relações de poder. Esse poder foi utilizado na altura, para que a educação cumprisse o propósito, o objetivo e o fim, para que tivesse um valor ÚTIL ao serviço de Deus e do Estado Metropolitano Espanhol, ou seja, ÚTIL para Deus e para o Rei.

EL LIBROResponsables políticos, analistas de políticas, investigadores y estudiantes en el campo de las políticas públicas han mostrado interés por el desarrollo del Estado de Kwara en la era posterior a la Revolución O-to-ge. Este interés no es ajeno a la gran expectación de innumerables ciudadanos que hasta ahora creían que la anterior hegemonía en el estado, que abarca cuatro décadas, era más o menos continuidad que progreso. Sin embargo, con el cambio de bastón de mando, la basicidad anterior colocó a la administración de Abdulrazaq bajo la lupa de los ciudadanos de Kwara y de los agudos observadores de su gubernamentalidad. El autor observó que la mayoría de los análisis y evaluaciones sólo constituían el núcleo del discurso de los medios de comunicación y de los comentarios de la calle, sin la documentación adecuada, por lo que decidió publicar este libro que sirve de resumen y recuento exhaustivo de las reformas políticas y los logros de la Administración del Gobernador Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq. El libro demuestra que la administración tiene sus carencias, pero que un conjunto básico de buenas políticas, como la disciplina macroeconómica, las infraestructuras y el desarrollo de los recursos humanos, merecedoras de ser reproducidas en la función pública, sentaron las bases del éxito de la reforma de Kwara.

En correspondencia, se aborda la temática de desarrollo de habilidades directivas en la formación de dirigentes sindicales intermedios; su particularidad en el sector privado cubano. Sobre esta base, se concibe un sistema conceptual teórico-metodológico de desarrollo de habilidades directivas, que se compone por conceptos básicos, complementarios y motrices, los cuales en su interrelación conducen a explicar la dinámica en el referido sistema, para el ejercicio de la actividad sindical en el sector privado cubano, con la respectiva metodología para su implementación, propuesta que durante su aplicación en la práctica educativa, evidenció su viabilidad y pertinencia.

Suddenly, the Grim Reaper materializes in the dining room, and announces that the time has arrived for him to take President Trump away. In the hope of dissuading the Grim Reaper from completing his mission, President Trump calls upon the assistance of Satan, whom the president hopes will listen to his appeal for clemency. As did the Grim Reaper, Satan materializes in a burst of explosions, smoke, etc. President Trump attempts to convince Satan to overrule the Grim Reaper by presenting a video playlist titled Trump's Big Six, containing six of what he considers to be his political career's highlights.One of the play's conceits is that only President Trump, and not his visitors, of which there were a few-for example, Ivanka Trump, Mark Meadows, and Pat Cipollone-can see the Grim Reaper and Satan: "Only he whom we come for can see us."

As anyone who lived through that decade knows, the 1980s in South Africa were marked by protest, violent confrontation, and international sanctions. Internally, the country saw a bewildering growth of grassroots organizations--including trade unions, civic associations in the black townships, student and other youth organizations, church-based groups, and women's movements--many of which operated under the umbrella of the United Democratic Front (UDF). "Beyond Our Wildest Dreams" explores the often conflicted relationship between the UDF's large-scale resistance to apartheid and its everyday struggles at the local level.In hindsight, the UDF can be seen as a transitional front, preparing the ground for leaders of the liberation movement to return from exile or prison and take over power. But the founding fathers of the UDF initially had far more modest ambitions. As Azhar Cachalia, one of its core activists, later explained: "Look, when we founded the UDF, we had never in our wildest dreams expected that events would take off in the way they did. What happened was beyond everybody's expectations."Interviews with Cachalia and other leading personalities in the UDF examine the organization's workings at the national level, while stories of ordinary people, collected by the author, illuminate the grassroots activism so important to the UDF's success.
