Bien qu'ils intéressent tous les enfants, ces livres s'adressent spécifiquement aux garçons autochtones jeunes et en âge d'être scolarisés. Livres dont le vocabulaire leur permet de lire aux garçons par leurs parents dans leurs premières années, et par les garçons eux-mêmes une fois qu'ils commencent à lire pour eux-mêmes.
