It may be dangerous to go out in the rain... But it may be even more dangerous to stay inside. Just after noon on a sunny spring day at Friedkin University, a layer of strange clouds smudges across the sky, and a mysterious rain begins to fall. This isn't just a surprise spell of rain-this substance is slimy and gelatinous...and it's not letting up any time soon. The rain spreads across the country, the hemisphere, and the globe, with growing ripples of panic and paranoia gathering behind it. Is it a natural, undocumented phenomenon? A chemical weapon? Some kind of bacterial contagion? As fear turns theories into conspiracies and no clear answers are given, factions start to form between those who have been exposed to the rain and those who stayed dry. Who is safe? Who is marked? Who is dangerous, and who is not? The rain keeps falling, and at Friedkin University, the sanctuary of the campus bookstore swiftly becomes a dangerous battlefield. Is it man versus nature? Or man versus man? When it Rains is a perfect read for fans of Stephen King, Clive Barker, and Nick Cutter, or books like One Rainy Night by Richard Laymon, Bird Box by Josh Malerman, and Rain by Joe Hill, and even movies like Night of the Living Dead and The Thing. Proudly represented by Crystal Lake Publishing-Tales from the Darkest Depths.

1940, England: A totally heart-rending, unforgettable and powerful story about love, wartime secrets, and betrayal. When a beautiful young woman named Anya decides to become a spy, it is entirely so she can escape a terrifying situation at home in war-torn Russia, where she fears for her life more with every day that passes. But then she finds herself sent to work as a land girl in a beautiful corner of England and she begins to make friends - ones she knows she cannot possibly betray. And she knows she's made a terrible mistake. The only person she can turn to is her fellow informer, Nikolai, and she finds herself impossibly drawn to his soulful blue eyes, his quiet intensity and his innate goodness. They both desperately want to join the fight against the Nazis and when they are told they can switch their allegiance, they start to believe their love might stand a chance. But no one can ever know their secret history, and being together is still dangerous. So they devise a plan. If circumstances mean they're ever separated, they will find their way back to each other. They just have to follow a series of secret coded messages they've left. Clues no one else could possibly understand. Starting with a small key, left in the place that has become most precious to them: the secret garden. Now, England: When Laura agrees to restore a beautiful garden in the grounds of an English stately home she sees the opportunity for a new start, away from heartbreak. But when she finds a box buried under the weeping willow tree, she is spellbound by its contents - a key and a cryptic note. As she begins to piece together the fragments of a love story that stretches across wartime Europe, Laura doesn't realise it, but she is embarking on an unforgettable journey. One which will change her own life forever. Absolutely unmissable historical fiction, perfect for fans of Rhys Bowen's The Victory Garden and Kristin Hannah's The Nightingale. The novel "Off-Color on the Lake," is a sequel to the love story "Living out a Dream." Even though "Off-Color on the Lake," has the same memorable characters as in "Living Out a Dream," it takes a screamingly twist since it involves a serial killer that threatens this loveable cast of characters- when all they had hoped for was an enjoyable family camp out. This is a sequel book and reading both books would bring even more pleasure to the reader, but each can be read separately since both stories are an enjoyable read. Enjoy!

There Will Be Time is a grab bag of a novel, a murder mystery, a comic look at life in a small college in the Carolina mountains where relations between faculty, staff, and administration are on a relatively first name basis and everyone seemingly knows everybody else's business.Wilson Roberts knows such places, having taught at Lees-McRae College in the Carolina Mountains, Paul Smiths College in the northern Adirondacks, Delaware Valley College in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Greenfield Community College in Massachusetts. He brings wit and insight into his depiction of campus life, as in his description of the single faculty apartment building at Banner Grove College: "The apartments had been built quickly and cheaply by a sub-assistant dean of grass cutting who hadn't spent a cent more than necessary to get an occupancy permit from the building inspector, who was his wife's brother."There Will Be Time will entertain any reader. It's a thrilling murder mystery filled with humor, suspense, a love of life in academic Siberia, and amusing insights into that life.
