"Wo finde ich Frieden?" Diese Frage stand im Zentrum des Schreib- und Erzählprojekts "Wir stricken Geschichten". Über 120 Menschen ab acht Jahren beteiligten sich zwischen Sommer und Winter 2023 an dem Kooperationsprojekt des Kulturbüros der Stadt Oldenburg mit dem Geest-Verlag, dem Familienzentrum Osternburg (FAZO) in der Evangelischen Familien-Bildungsstätte (EFB) und dem Druckatelier Laura Keppel.Menschen aus den folgenden Einrichtungen strickten Geschichten zu den großen Fragen des Lebens: aus der Ländlichen Erwachsenenbildung in Niedersachsen (LEB) mit dem Projekt "Küche im Quartier", vom Evangelischen Zentrum für Bildung in der Pflege, vom Yezidischen Forum, von der IGS Flötenteich und der Grundschule Edewecht. Sie alle sowie weitere interessierte Einzelpersonen setzten sich kreativ in Wort und Bild mit Wegen für ein friedvolles Miteinander auseinander. Die Stadt Oldenburg ist seit 1987 Teil des weltweiten Städtenetzwerks "Mayors for Peace". Seit 2018 fördert das Kulturbüro jährlich durch ein Kulturprojekt die kreative Auseinandersetzung mit der Friedensfrage.Beim Erzähl- und Schreibprojekt "Wir stricken Geschichten" wurden als intimer Schreib- und Erzählraum die beiden gestrickten und gehäkelten Zelte genutzt, die 2020 im Rahmen des Farbenfroh Kulturfestivals Kreyenbrück ent-standen und seit 2021 als mobile Kulturorte durch Oldenburg wandern. Eines der beiden textilen Gesamtkunstwerke war 2023 zu Gast bei der EFB. Dort entstand die Idee zum Projekt "Wir stricken Geschichten", das von der Oldenburgischen Landschaft und der Interessengemeinschaft "Die Kreyen-brücker e.V." gefördert wurde.Herausgekommen sind vielfarbige und vielstimme Texte, die überraschen, berühren und etwas zu sagen haben."Für zwanzig Kinder der IGS Flötenteich ging es am 30.11.2023 zur Schreibwerkstatt. The first amateur motion picture camera was massively produced in 1923, shortly after the introduction of 9,5 mm film by the Pathé Frères in France 101 years ago, in December 1922, and of 16 mm film by the Eastman Kodak Company in America a month later. Brian McElney was born in Hong Kong in the early 1930s, and for more than two decades was one of the territory's top lawyers. But in his spare time, he also put together one of the most comprehensive collections of East Asian antiques in the world, many of them spotted by him amongst the knick-knacks on Hollywood Road and Cat Street. His memoir, Collecting China, starts at the height of the Cultural Revolution in the mid-1960s, when it was just not known whether the Red Guards would storm over the border and start smashing up porcelain on the Mid-Levels. He also tells tales ranging from the Hong Kong of the 1930s through to the establishment by Brian of what is today the only museum specialising in Chinese antiquities in the United Kingdom - the Museum of East Asian Art in Bath.

El proyecto ha contribuido así a empezar a elaborar una cartografía de la imagen de la mujer de los siglos XX y XXI en la literatura y el cine del ámbito hispánico y avanzar, por tanto, en la recuperación de las voces artísticas de mujeres contemporáneas. Después de seleccionar un corpus de cincuenta obras literarias escritas en los siglos XX y XXI que tienen como protagonista a un personaje femenino o consideran a la mujer como eje temático principal, se han estudiado los diferentes modelos femeninos presentes en diez obras literarias y sus adaptaciones audiovisuales, junto con los criterios que determinan la presencia de dichos modelos.
