Written by two of the most eminent Anatolian experts of the day, this book on church history and architecture in Turkey was first published in 1909. Sir William Mitchell Ramsay (1851-1939), Scottish classical scholar and archaeologist, and Gertrude Bell (1868-1926), traveller, archaeologist and diplomatist, joined forces for an expedition investigating the Hittite and Byzantine site of Bin-Bir-Kilisse in Turkey in 1907. Bell was successful in establishing the chronology of Byzantine churches, and her findings constitute the middle two parts of the book, on buildings and ecclesiastical architecture. Ramsay contributed the first and last parts, on the historical and geographical details of the churches and an account of other notable monuments in the region. Ramsay was knighted in 1906 and both scholars were honoured by the Royal Geographical Society. In 1913 Bell became one of the first women to be elected a Fellow of the Society.

O objetivo principal deste trabalho é realizar uma análise formal da obra Tres piezas montañeras pa ¿ clarinete solo do compositor colombiano Jaime Jaramillo Arias. O objetivo é realizar uma revisão detalhada dos aspectos composicionais a nível melódico, rítmico e harmónico, caso existam, e a sua relação com as técnicas e elementos interpretativos, a fim de fornecer ferramentas suficientes para uma compreensão profunda ao abordar as três peças que compõem esta obra. Por outro lado, a partitura foi reeditada, acrescentando indicações de carácter, andamento, dinâmica e articulação. Esta revisão da partitura foi efectuada em conjunto com o compositor, pelo que um dos contributos da obra será a apresentação da edição final da partitura de acordo com os referidos contributos.

The main objective of this work is to carry out a formal analysis of the work Tres piezas montañeras pa ¿ clarinete solo by the Colombian composer Jaime Jaramillo Arias. The aim is to carry out a detailed review of compositional aspects at the melodic, rhythmic and harmonic level, if any, and their relationship with the techniques and interpretative elements in order to provide sufficient tools for a deep understanding when approaching the three pieces that make up this work. On the other hand, the score has been re-edited, adding indications of character, tempo, dynamics and articulation. This revision of the score has been done in conjunction with the composer, so that one of the contributions of the work will be to present the final edition of the score in accordance with the aforementioned contributions.

The peculiarity of the monograph is connected with the possibility of forming self-organized information structures in intelligent and non-crystalline materials, information and communication systems, and artificial intelligence. Self-organized information structures have unique information characteristics and access without dissipative functioning through fractality. Fractality provides an opportunity to create new intelligent environments and innovative information processing and transmission systems. The feasibility of implementing fractal information and intelligence through self-organization processes in systems of various natures is shown. The considered approach shows the vision and perception of self-organized fractal architectures as systems of "simple algorithms" that can create all the uniqueness and completeness of nature. Le statut des femmes artistes en Occident a connu de nombreuses transformations durant les périodes moderne et contemporaine, du XVIIe au XXIe siècle. Il a été largement dépendant, en un même temps et un même pays, des conditions sociales, économiques et culturelles dans lesquelles elles naissaient, se formaient et pouvaient exercer leur art. Et plus que les hommes, elles ont été tributaires de leur situation familiale et, très fréquemment, du rôle que jouaient, au plus près d'elles, des hommes. De manière ambivalente, la parentèle a longtemps produit chez les femmes des effets de relégation et de subordination, mais elle a aussi permis, dans certaines circonstances, un espace de création. Faisant suite au colloque international organise en septembre 2016 par le Musee Sainte Croix, l'université de Poitiers (Criham) et l'association Archives of Women Artists, Research and Exhibitions (AWARE), cet ouvrage met en évidence la pluralité des situations comme un certain nombre de mécanismes récurrents ou les relations de parentèle choisies, subies ou refusées agissent sur la création individuelle des femmes et émergent parfois comme sujet.
