Little Leona is a bright, young girl who enjoys slaying imaginary monsters in her home.  One day she meets a real dragon—a fire.  Ever alert, she rises to the challenge, employs her wits and lives to fight another day.  This tale, told in rhyme, has won the Mom's Choice silver award. It has also been endorsed by the Annapolis Fire Department and is currently being used in their elementary school fire prevention programs.

Little Leona is going sailing, but not before she reviews safety procedures with her crew. And it's a good thing, since during their sail they meet Chessie, the Loch Ness monster of the Chesapeake Bay!
