CAREC's new trade strategy leverages on the successes of past CAREC trade work built on mutual trust and collective efforts. It is designed to foster deepened regional cooperation and integration. The CAREC Program is a partnership of 11 countries to promote development and lead to accelerated growth and poverty reduction.

Discusses how the 11 CAREC countries can improve regional energy connectivity and implement priority reforms to scale up investments and promote green energy. This publication also proposes measures to empower women in the energy sector and build knowledge through new institutional partnerships.

This report reflects the changes in the South Asia Subregional Economic Cooperation (SASEC) Program's operational plan for the period 2016-2025, in particular on priority projects resulting from a rigorous vetting process.
