The two volumes LNCS 10337 and 10338 constitute the proceedings of the International Work-Conference on the Interplay Between Natural and Artificial Computation, IWINAC 2017, held in Corunna, Spain, in June 2017.The total of 102 contributions was carefully reviewed and selected from 190 submissions during two rounds of reviewing and improvement. The six volume set LNCS 10404 until 10409 constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 17th International Conference on Computational Science and Its Applications, ICCSA 2017, held in Trieste, Italy, in July 2017.
